Dorm Lobby - Just before sunset

Marie was waiting in the lobby for Willow and Peter to meet her so they could go trick-or-treating through town. She was mildly disappointed that Jamie had to work and couldn't join them, but she'd gladly recruit anyone who happened to be wandering through to join them.

[ETA: I'm heading home from work. Feel free to advance your characters to the town trick-or-treat post at your own speed :) If you want to handwave that your character ran into Marie and she convinced them to go, that's fine with me!]

"Do you know what electricity is?" Willow asked, because in Fandom you had to ask these things.

Door nods. "I know what it is; it's just not very reliable where I grew up, so we can't use it for most things. But...blankets pretty much work by themselves, don't they?"

"Sure, but if you're so cold you're stealing warmth from other people then maybe you need extra help in the heat department," Willow said.

"So you plug them in and they get warmer than regular blankets?" That's not a girl who grew up in the London Underground mostly without heat that didn't come from fireplaces looking like someone just said the words 'free candy.' No.

Except it's Halloween, so of course someone did just say the words 'free candy.'
