Nadia was sitting upside down on the couch, munching on a chicken empanada and reading a book.

"Okay, first of all? When have I ever said that I was better than you? Because if I did, you should have smacked me right there. Secondly? If the fleet flies out and something goes wrong in space, I'm pretty sure that means someone could die."

"Stop talking down to me!" Cally growled, and suddenly a much larger fireball appeared in her hand. Thankfully, this scared her half to death and it dissipated quickly.

"Oh... shit..." she said, biting her lip and then fleeing the room.

That? Really probably didn't bode well.

She started after her, then changed her mind and sat down with a sigh. Well, until now, it had been a really good day.
