Nadia was sitting upside down on the couch, munching on a chicken empanada and reading a book.

"So who did you give it away to?" Marty teased.

Nadia raised an eyebrow. "Who do you think?"

"I don't dare to assume," Marty said politely. "That would be rude."

"I'm starting to think it's rude that you don't immediately assume it would be my boyfriend. I don't kiss around."

"What about the time at Veronica's birthday party?"

"That was for a special occasion. A rare gift."

"Well there could have been a special occasion at the club you were at," Marty pointed out. "You may have needed to give out a rare gift again."

"Not to people I don't know."

"Well I wasn't there. Who knows what people were there that you did know?"

Nadia mock-scowled at him. "The only people I knew there were Walter and Pippi. And before you ask, no, I didn't kiss Pippi."

"Did she offer you five dollars?"

Marty prepared himself to run out of the room.

Nadia blew a raspberry at Marty and aimed a swat at his upper arm.

"That's a no right?" Marty asked rubbing his arm.

"You're very perceptive."

"So I've been told. So did anyone offer you five dollars to take your shirt off?"

"Nope. It was a male strip club."

"Well then that makes sense. Did you offer anyone to take off their shirt for five dollars?"

"Nope. There were guys doing that without me paying anything on the stage."

"That's very thrifty of you. It's an admirable trait."

"Why, thank you. I thought so."

"So if I offered you five dollars..."

He's teasing. Really.

"Ewwwww! You're like my brother!" Nadia swatted at his arm again.

"OW! Kidding! I don't want to see that!"

"Good, because then I'd have to tell Veronica and Angela that you're a pervert."

"Well Angela already knows- Nevermind."
