5th Floor Common Room - Sunday evening dinner and Glögg Party

The fifth floor common room has been decked out for Yule. (That includes jødisk jul.)

Pippi has used the provisions that StuCo has the common room stocked with to make something called "meatloaf". Pippi, being Pippi, has made a mind boggling amount of meatloaf.

She also has a punchbowl out which contains totally non-alcoholic Glögg. (Or "Gløgg" if you're Hamlet.) And she absolutely does not have a several small bottles of akvavit secreted in and among the decorations so people can make their cups more... gloggy.

There's also a spread of nuts, raisins, and gingerbread. Pippi herself is at the stove making æbleskiver.

"Hi Peter! We're celebrating Yule!"

"It smells good!" Peter agreed. He paused. "What's Yule?"

"No idea! I think it's like Christmas, only heathen." Nadia didn't seem to much mind that it was heathen. She might, in fact, like it better just for that.

Peter tsked and shook his head before wincing. "I'm sure people wouldn't approve. I do though."

"Around here, if people don't, then they're just dumb. I think it's fun."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-12-18 04:08 am (UTC)(link)
"Very true. I don't think anyone here can doubt anything," Peter replied with a rueful smile.

"And if they can, they have amazing skills of . . . um . . . doubtitude."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-12-18 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
Peter giggled, finding that a bit funnier than he should have. "We have every other type of superhero? Why not one who's power is doubting?"

". . . because people would hit them with sticks?"

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-12-18 04:29 am (UTC)(link)
"True," Peter agreed. "Also, they'd probably be very sad superheroes."

"I think we'd have to have an intervention."

"Perhaps Jaye would bring her glitter," Peter replied. Not meaning boykissy at all.

"As long as they wouldn't depress our superhero more."

"They'd be happy flags."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-12-18 05:04 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm all for them. Glitter, smiling flags, and good food. What else can a doubting superhero ask for?"

"Absolutely nothing. We'll get rid of their doubtitude right away."

"Go team Fandom," Peter said. "Dealing with trolls, jello dragons, and doubtitude since time of legend. Or...last year."
