5th Floor Common Room - Sunday evening dinner and Glögg Party

The fifth floor common room has been decked out for Yule. (That includes jødisk jul.)

Pippi has used the provisions that StuCo has the common room stocked with to make something called "meatloaf". Pippi, being Pippi, has made a mind boggling amount of meatloaf.

She also has a punchbowl out which contains totally non-alcoholic Glögg. (Or "Gløgg" if you're Hamlet.) And she absolutely does not have a several small bottles of akvavit secreted in and among the decorations so people can make their cups more... gloggy.

There's also a spread of nuts, raisins, and gingerbread. Pippi herself is at the stove making æbleskiver.

"Wouldn't that ruin the point of the combusting?" Willow asked. "Because then I'd be alive after and swimming in both foam and embarassment."

"Then you probably shouldn't spontaneously combust. I don't know why you'd be that embarrassed in the first place."

"Because it's things!"

That was a proper and fully fleshed out sentence as far as Willow was concerned.

"Yes! That!" Willow was thrilled that Nadia understood.

"That must make having a boyfriend kind of awkward."

"Well that's different," Willow said with a shrug.

"Why?"

"Because it involves doing instead of talking," Willow said. "And doing with the person I want to be doing it with, which means the embarassment, though there to start with, does get replaced by happy flippy feelings."

"I guess that makes sense. But it can be fun to talk about it with your friends, too, and if you get the stuff in the store with those friends, then you know no one is making fun of you."

Willow stared at Nadia as though she were speaking a strange language.

"Trust me. It'll be fun!"

"We're not inviting the entire school, right?" Willow asked. "Just a very very very very very very very small select few?"

"Only the people you want to come along."

"Okay," Willow said. "I think I can cope with that."

"Yay! It'll be tons of fun, I promise!"

"A way to celebrate finals!" Willow said.

"If thats what works for you," Willow said, giving her another strange look.

"Yep. I'm looking forward to the semester being done."

"So there can be brand-new classes next semester!"

"I can't wait," Willow said, wistfully. "Anyway, I should go. I'm glad I ran into you today!"
