Dick was sitting on the couch, watching old CFD re-runs. He also had a bowl of popcorn in his hand which was mostly un-burnt. And yes, he considered popcorn a valid meal. It was made of corn after all and corn was a vegetable!

"Old. Been here since the fall," Summer said. "I'm Summer, by the way."

"I'm Tannim," Tannim said. "You like it here?"

"I do, yeah," Summer said, nodding. "Took some getting used to when I first got here, but now, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else."

"Cool," Tannim said. "I think I like it."

"Once you get used to the weirdness, you'll probably learn to love it here," Summer said.

"I'm actually loving the weirdness," Tannim said. "But I'm still not sure how much is real and how much is putting the newbies on."

"I remember wondering that myself when I started here," Summer said. "Pretty much everything you were told is probably real."

"Yeah, but for all I know, you're part of the conspiracy," Tannim pointed out.

"I could very well be," Summer said, amused.

"And she admits it!" Tannim said to no one in particular.

"I refuse to admit to anything," Summer said, snickering.

"Would you sign a statement to that effect?" Tannim asked.

"Sure! Unless I was signing my soul away or something," Summer said. "Which could possibly happen around here."

"Yeah, I guess you have to read the fine print," Tannim said.

"Exactly," Summer agreed.
