Third Floor Common Room - Saturday, Late morning/early afternoon

After taking a shower, Tori made her way to the common room. She turned on the television, finding some cartoons to watch.

It was a Saturday afternoon and there wasn't really anything good on the television, so cartoons it was.

Tori made a bowl of popcorn and sat down on the couch, trying to pass the time before the party.

"Hey." Tori smiled. "Bitterwoman?"

"It's a television program that seems to be constantly on the television." He leaned over to grab the remote. "Here, let me show you."

Because somewhere on one of the stations was guaranteed to be Bitterwoman.

"Oh, I've never heard of it." Tori shrugged. "Go for it." She had honestly not heard of it until Walter mentioned it.

Walter flipped through the channels and considered just grabbing the tv guide (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh_ooc/307886.html) off the table, but it only took four channels to find Bitterwoman, the story of a woman who did a lot of running in very high heels.

"I don't actually see its appeal," Walter said, flipping back to the cartoons. "But a lot of people here watch it."

Tori shook her head. "I don't either." She didn't get how people could watch some of the things that were on television.

Bitterwoman demonstration complete, Walter dropped onto the couch and stretched his legs out.

"Have you seen your class schedule yet?"

"Popcorn?" She held out the bowl.

"Yeah, managed to get the three classes I really wanted. Novice's Guide to Villains and Villainy, Folklore and Fact and Conflict Management. How about you?"

"My employer has some interesting ideas about what I should be taking," Walter said, looking at his schedule. "I don't even know what some of these are. DAMM, Ethics, Folklore and Fact, So You Want a Revolution, and Tremble Foolish Mortals."

Tori chuckled. "Yeah, those are exactly normal everyday classes." She smiled. "Well, we'll be in Folklore and Fact together, so that'll be fun."

Walter smirked and folded his schedule before tucking it away in his waistcoat. "You can't get this sort of education anywhere else."
