Third Floor Common Room - Saturday, Late morning/early afternoon

After taking a shower, Tori made her way to the common room. She turned on the television, finding some cartoons to watch.

It was a Saturday afternoon and there wasn't really anything good on the television, so cartoons it was.

Tori made a bowl of popcorn and sat down on the couch, trying to pass the time before the party.

"Oh, you met Wyatt," Chris said, wondering if his brother had hit on her.

"I did." Tori nodded. She shook her head in amusement. "Quite a guy."

"I hope he didn't say anything too offensive," Chris said.

Tori laughed. "He didn't. Our discussion mostly revolved around the warnings and jello dragons." She smiled slightly, thinking of Wyatt's comment to her. Okay, so maybe he had hit on her, a little. "And big brother duties."

Chris groaned. "I'm afraid to ask what he said."

Tori smirked. "Nothing terrible, honest. Just that it was his job to torment you."

"That's a job he takes far too seriously," Chris admitted.

"I can only imagine." Tori smiled softly. The boys did that to her sometimes, especially Shane and Dustin.

"I can't remember if you told me if you have any brothers and sisters," Chris said, smiling back.

"I have one sister." Tori smiled. "So, I know how it is to be tormented so."

Chris laughed. "We should stick together. Is your sister here?"

"We totally should." Tori agreed. "No, she's back home." She smiled. "Though, I wish she were here, even I do get picked on. But it's an even trade." Tori smirked, thinking back to some of the pranks she'd played on her sister.

"I get that," Chris said. "Even though Wyatt gives me a hard time, I'm glad he's here with me."

He smiled. "Did you get a school assigned big? Mine is pretty nice. A little scary, but mostly nice."

"You're lucky to have him here." Tori admitted. There may have been a tiny hint of jealousy in there. Maybe.

"I did. A big sister. Nadia Santos. She's really nice and helpful. Not scary at all." Tori chuckled. "Although, she could be scary, I haven't spent that much time with her yet."

"My big sister is Parker. She had a birthday party last night," Chris said.

"Oh! I met Parker last night. At her party, as a matter of fact." Tori explained. "I was exploring the dorm and happened upon it. I felt bad that it was her birthday and I didn't have anything for her, so I made her a card last night." She grinned sheepishly.

"Aw, I didn't see you there," Chris said. "I managed to find her a gift. She seemed to like it."

"Oh, too bad." Tori frowned. "It was a fun party." She smiled. "Oh good! That was nice of you."

"It really was," Chris agreed. "But I'm glad I ran into you today. It's weird that we live right next door and haven't seen each other hardly at all this week."

"Same here." Tori smiled. "It is kind of strange, isn't it?" She shrugged. "Maybe once classes start, we'll see more of each other."

"At least in the class we have together," Chris pointed out. "Do you have a roommate? How are things going there?"

"True." Tori nodded. "I do. Her name's Angela Chase. She's really nice. How about you?"

"I met Angela last night. She is very nice. My roommate's name is Summer. She's really nice, too," Chris said.

"Summer. Oh! I met her yesterday. She seems cool." Tori replied.

"Just don't ask her to make you coffee," Chris joked. "It's weird living with a girl. That was not something I was expecting when I got here."
