Third Floor Common Room - Saturday, Late morning/early afternoon

After taking a shower, Tori made her way to the common room. She turned on the television, finding some cartoons to watch.

It was a Saturday afternoon and there wasn't really anything good on the television, so cartoons it was.

Tori made a bowl of popcorn and sat down on the couch, trying to pass the time before the party.

"England," she answers. "Is it very different for you so far?"

"I've been to England two times with my parents when I was younger. Both vacations. It's beautiful."

She nodded. "It is. Very. But I think I am adjusting pretty good. Had a good wave of homesickness settle over me this afternoon, so I'm trying to shake it before the party tonight. Are you going?"

"I didn't know there was going to be one," she says. "Who's throwing it?"

"I'm not sure who is throwing it, but it's in the lobby, and something about pink pony's that are evil?" She arched a brow. "Been to one of these before?"

"Well... I know one of the students was a pony for a while, but that was months ago and he got better," she says thoughtfully. "I'm not quite sure."

"Really, a pony." That's a new one. Just when she thought nothing could surprise her anymore...

"Was it pink?"

"I didn't see him, only heard about it on the radio. I don't think so, though."

She frowns. "I hope it's not a recurring problem for him."

"I wonder where the pink comes from then. Maybe someone will clarify that this evening."

Annette frowned too. "What a terrible thing if it was. I couldn't imagine, really." Even trying to imagine such a thing was hard to do.

"It's so far always been temporary," she says helpfully.

She grinned slightly. "Well, that's something. If you're going to turn into a pony, temporary is best. I guess."
