Number 6 was peering over the edge of the roof with a pair of field glasses, taking notes on the students passing by and jotting down suspicious behavior. He would find out which were the prisoners and which were the wardens...

Tyler pinged into this post late because I couldn't resist sat on the lawn with a thick set of papers in a blue binder that he seemed to be most engrossed in.

Binoculars strong enough to pick up text on the page might notice it was a well-marked copy of The New Anarchist's Cookbook.

Blast these bloody field glasses for not getting fine detail on anemic-looking man's reading material. Still, a book is a fine sign if it's not a propaganda tool or some signal. Probably just likes the pictures, though.
