Number 6 was peering over the edge of the roof with a pair of field glasses, taking notes on the students passing by and jotting down suspicious behavior. He would find out which were the prisoners and which were the wardens...

Steerpike was walking idly toward the gate, wearing one of the suits Walter had given him, just enjoying the ability to go outside whenever he felt like it.

He glanced back towards the school building and up towards the spot where he'd first arrived: the roof, and in the interested of appearing to be sociable, waved to the figures he saw up there.

Nova is wandering around with no destination in particular. In the grass he spots something. Bending down for a closer look, he sees a beetle struggling on its back. He feels sympathy for the poor bug.

Sam ran up to the gate from outside, sweaty and tired from her circuit around the island. She stopped to stretch for a few minutes, then walked slowly into the dorms.

Vladdie had been getting a little sick lately, so Rory decided to take him out to the butcher to pick out his own blood. Maybe she had been getting him some that he simply didn't like!

But, it being daytime, she had him bundled up inside her coat. It caused her to look all the world like she had a very squirmy tumor sticking out of her chest as she walked towards town.

Before heading to brunch in town with Wilson, Aziraphale decided to make a quick trip to the school to pick up class materials from their offices. Noticing all the activity on the lawn, he walked slowly across the grassy area, smiling and nodding at the students and teachers as he went.

He carried a leather satchel in one hand, and was cheerfully humming to himself.

It was a nice day outside and Peter was determined.

Determined, but not stupid.

He stood on a single step and jumped off, seeing if he might fly.

It didn't work. No matter how often he tried, he kept falling on his face again and again.

It's possible the "but not stupid" designation isn't a wholly correct one.

The weather was nice and it had been a while since Willow had gone visiting, so she sat out on the grass with Shelby the turtle and chatted with him about future job opportunities in the mining industry.

It was a one-sided conversation but Willow didn't mind.

M decided she needed to get a better feel for the environment she was supposed to be working in. Today, that meant taking a walk around the grounds, which also gave her the opportunity to observe the interaction of the students.

She didn't engage in conversation with anyone, but her quick gaze made careful note of her surroundings and the activities.

The glint of light off a set of binoculars didn't go unnoticed either.

From an open window in the school building, a man in bright red climbed out the window and jumped down toward the ground. He looked around quickly before sprinting toward town.

Living around so many people was a bit overwhelming at times. Tannim decided to go outside for a bit. He took his CD player and sketch pad and found a spot under a tree where he could sit and draw and listen to music.

The fact that Aeryn is going out for a run on a nice day isn't surprising. However, when she gets outside, she puts the little yellow DRD on the lawn, tells him to start timing her, then takes off for her usual course through the preserve.

Bertram seems a lot more concerned trying to spin little circles on the ground.
