Second Floor Common Room - Wednesday Evening

Perhaps he was feeling generous, perhaps he was feeling suicidal, but Balthier had handwavy purchased groceries to make omelettes for himself and anyone else who wanted some. There wasn't anything odd in them, at least not by this world's standards, so Balthier was fairly sure that no one would be grossed out.

He flipped on the television the standard evening news, just to have background noise, but he wasn't really watching it.

[Open for anyone of course, and there's free food if you ask nicely.]

Teddy's food senses were tingling. He walked in the common room and waved at his little brother. "Hey, Balthier!"

Balthier nodded back as he was busy with a frying pan. "Hello, Teddy." he smirked and did a neat flip with the omelette

"Omelets?" Teddy asked hopefully.

The pirate chuckled. "Yes, would you like one?"

Cassie came into her common room, beckoned by the smell of eggs.

"Hey... guy."

He smirked and quirked an eyebrow. "Hello, girl? Balthier." He said, kind of introducing himself as he left the eggs a moment and grabbed some filling.

"I'm Cassie," she said. "What're you making?"

"Frog-spawn free omelettes," he teased. "Would you like one?"

"There you are," Chad was glad to find Cassie on the second try.

"Here I am," Cassie said. "You got something to tell me?"

Naomi was making more of an effort to visit the common rooms, "hi," she said as she entered the second floor common room.

"Hello," Balthier nodded with a small smile.

"I'm Naomi Wildman," Naomi introduced herself, "are you one of the new students?" she asked.

Demyx was drawn by the scent of food. He could make his own, but why bother when other people were making it for him, and most likely better? He drifted over to Balthier and peeked over his shoulder. "...You're making food."

"That I am," he replied arching an eyebrow at Demyx with a hidden smirk.

"...Is it free food?" Demyx hovered behind him, standing on tiptoe and rocking a little as he held his balance.

"It's an omlette, interested?" Eye patch, dashing. "I'm Balthier, I don't think I've had the pleasure of your acquantance."

"Pip Bernadette," Pip responded. "And yes. I assume you are one of the new people?"

Bored as usual, and because they can never get enough free food, the twins wandered down a floor at the smell of eggs.

And eggs there were a plenty. Balthier glanced over, double taking at the identical boys he saw standing there. "Hello," He said with his eyebrows raised. No, he really didn't have much experience with twins.

They wander a little closer to watch what he was making. "Omelettes..?" They asked curiously.

Having successfully gotten someone to cover the late part of his shift, Chad went to execute step one in the 'I've a huge freakin' idiot' recovery plan, and started poking his head into common rooms to find Cassie, since he didn't know where else to find her.

Teddy waved at Chad cheerfully, not saying anything because his mouth was full of yummy yummy omelette.

Chad thought back to what he told Pippi about this island being way, way too small. Case in point.

Chad lifted his hand and actually waved it as he waved back; he didn't want to ruin Teddy's good mood with his emo like he'd done with Pippi's (although, technically, he didn't even touch her good mood; her cheerfulness was practically untouchable)...
