Cally was doing her fair share of contributing to the free consumption of mass quantities to the masses.

She was baking vegan sugar cookies. And dancing a little dorkily to the tune 'Even Rats' by The Slip.

"Yeah, that frakker is toast," Cally said. "You... want a hug?"

Cameron managed a smile. "I wouldn't say no."

Cally brushed off her shirt, since there was a little flour on it, and then went to give Cameron a big hug. "I'm sure she really is okay."

"Yeah," he said as he returned the hug, mostly trying to convince himself that she really was. "It's a good thing Piper showed up when she did."

"Piper's awesome like that," Cally said. "So very, very awesome." She squeezed Cam in the hug a bit. "So we're meeting up at handwavey time tommorow. Don't be late, okay? The portal thingies are all prearranged and don't exactly wait."

"Trust me, I'll be on time," he assured her. "Thanks, Cally. I was looking for last minute flights, but the prizes were insane."

They were offering you insane prizes to fly with them? *ducks*

"Glad to help," Cally said. "The timing on this all is kinda crazy coincidence, innit?"

Cameron glanced briefly at Bel. "Sort of," he said. "I'm not going to question."

"Me neither," Cally said. "We'll have to make sure she has a fun and stuff."

"I'm sure she'll be glad to see you guys," he said with a small smile.

"Not as much as seeing you," Cally admitted. "Mac and I will have to keep Piper occupied, I guess."

Cameron couldn't really deny that part of him wasn't currently thinking of plans to chain himself to Veronica so he could keep an eye on her, but he was feeling just a little bit guilty for interrupting Cally's plans like this.

"I'm sure we'll be able to find something to do that everyone can enjoy," he said. "If Veronica is really as fine as she said she is."

"Yeah," Cally said, not knowing what else to say. "There'll be cookies soon."

"Cookies are good," he nodded. "I forgot to have breakfast."

"Cookies are so not a good breakfast," Cally scolded.

That got a grin out of him. "They so are if I want them to be."

"They so are not," Cally said. "Unless they're oatmeal raisin. Which these aren't."

"What if I call them brunch?" he suggested, giving her a pleading look.

"Hey, I'm not gonna deny you cookies," Cally said. "I'm just saying I may have to tell your girlfriend to have a word with you about your nutrition."

"My girlfriend is a coffee addict, she can't hardly talk," Cameron quiped.

"Coffee is nutritious!" Cally objected.

Cameron raised an eyebrow. "Since when?"

"Since... ever," Cally said.

"I'm not buying it," he said stubbornly. "Milk is a lot more nutritional."
