2nd floor common room, early Friday afternoon

No classes on Friday meant sleeping in, yay. When Wyatt finally emerged from his room that morning, he wandered out to the common room in search of food, food being cereal, of course, because in no way had he inherited any cooking skills from his mother.

He flopped on the couch and turned on the TV to see if there was anything other than soap operas and talks shows on.

"You seem to be three dimensional and in color now," Wyatt said.

"Yeah. We ran out of pages," Anders said. "Honestly, the color thing didn't bother me as much as it bothered Conner."

"Conner?" Wyatt asked. "Who's that, your roommate?"

"Sort of unofficially for a bit," Anders said casually. "We kind of dated for a month or so."

Wyatt eyed Anders. "The one who's ten years younger than you or something?"

"What? No! I . . . actually have no idea how much older or younger than me he is."

"Just how many exes do you have at this school?" Wyatt asked.

Anders eyed him. "Hey," he said defensively, "three is not that many."

Wyatt held his hands out. "I'm not judging," he said.

"You better not be," Anders replied. "I'd hate to have to decide I don't like you any more."

Wyatt's eyes may have widened just a little.

"Can't have that, yeah," he said neutrally.

Anders leaned over and chucked him lightly on the shoulder. "It'd be a shame, really."

"Yeah," Wyatt said slowly, edging a smidge away from Anders.

Anders raised an eyebrow. "Something wrong, dude?"

"No," Wyatt said quickly. "Nothing wrong. Nothing at all."
