Seely looked only slightly bemused as he set the gym up for cheerleading practice.

"Okay, due to being attacked by some creep, Buffy asked me to run things today," he said once the other cheerleaders had arrived. "Now, I haven't exactly done one of these before, so how about we all split into our teams and practice some stunts?"

After a particularly sleepless night, Ray'd given up trying to get sleep in and stumbled down to the gym. He'd been remiss lately, more content to drink, eat and sleep like a lazy idiot.

He's trying to make up for that by beating on the punching bag particularly hard. The punching bag isn't impressed.

No classes on Friday meant sleeping in, yay. When Wyatt finally emerged from his room that morning, he wandered out to the common room in search of food, food being cereal, of course, because in no way had he inherited any cooking skills from his mother.

He flopped on the couch and turned on the TV to see if there was anything other than soap operas and talks shows on.

Willow was Jewish. However there were a few things about Christmas she didn't dislike. In fact, there was one thing about Christmas that she downright missed.

She was lacking her original source for it though, so she decided to take matters into her own hands.

Which is why she set herself up in the first floor lobby with a sign:

WANTED: ONE SNOOPY DANCER
No prior experience necessary
Enquire within
Or right here since that's
where I'm sitting

FREE COOKIES FOR ALL!!!
(While supplies last)

There was a large plate of freshly made chocolate chip cookies beside her.

As she waited she flipped through her spellbooks and took notes.

She enjoyed multitasking.

There really was something irresistable to the trolls about the giant castle thing at the top of the hill.

I mean, come on! Trolls, castle . . . it was like a match made in heaven!

So, once they'd made lots of good headway pillaging and rampaging through the town, the trolls started on their way up the hill, aimed for the gates to the school, grinning and slathering and singing creepy, troll-y songs of glee.

After a handwavey trip into town for supplies, Molly set herself up in the fifth floor kitchen to start baking for tomorrow. She was making a cake, cookies and as many pies as she could get done this afternoon.

Ray had been in class when she called him, but she hoped he could come help out at least for a bit.

After finishing her homework for the week, Dawn went to the common room and decided to indulge herself. She had a bowl of rainbow sherbet and was flipping through channels.

Oooh, kittens! Or, well, lions, but baby ones. She watched happily, although an occasional "awww, kitty..." escaped.

Two days into the week and no detention, Peter considered this a win for him given the way last week went.  So he was celebrating with  popcorn and chocolate and had found Space Battles on the television.  It looked like an older version than Bridge had shown on Pangolin.  Did Hanno just shoot Greedy first?

He may have gone overboard on making both the popcorn and finding chocolate, but at least neither was burned.  Help eating them and perhaps mocking the dialogue was definitely welcome.

Luke had just settled onto a sofa to try to forget the weird guy who was teaching him Criminal Justice when he heard very strange noise coming from the air grate.

Being a dumbass curious, he crept over to investigate and was almost bowled over by a herd of gremlins dressed in various costumes as they raced into the common room.

One was dressed in rags, its arms extended as it squeaked "brains". Another was clad in hot pink bunny ears and was being chased by a decidedly sullen gremlin carrying a bell. Two others came out balanced on top of each other, looking a bit miniature giraffe-esque (not that Luke would know that). The one on top was wearing Secret Disguise Glasses (TM).

Luke narrowly missed getting hit by a gremlin tossing itself from the top of the doorjamb shrieking "Behooooooooold!" Its fall was broken by another gremlin wearing a tree while an additional gremlin dressed as a shrub snickered and pretended to take pictures.

Luke backed into the sofa as another group came running out of the grate covered in snowcone ice and began to line dance. They were followed by Very Angry Fairy Gremlins, three weetiny gremlins (one with a pillowcase on her head), then a dozen clad in Jello boxes and snarling.

"This is insane," Luke said.

He hadn't seen the Big Finish yet, of course.

The first gremlin came out with a brown yarn wig pulled back into a ponytail, sunglasses, a grey tank top and a Big Honkin' Gun (Really. It honked), and was followed by a gremlin wearing a non-descript suit and possessing No Facial Expressions At All. They were joined by another male-ish gremlin wearing sunglasses, then one toting a guitar, and finally one wearing a mop on her head and leather pants. Best not to ask why gremlins owned leather pants.

They held a brief conversation, then formed a kickline as the gremlin with the bell played "Little Bunny Foo Foo."

Confetti fell down over the entire production and they looked expectantly at Luke, who applauded loudly.

One gremlin reached into the grate, pulled out a sign that read "NeXT ShoW 10 MIns", flashed it at him and then disappeared.

Luke blinked, then settled in to watch it again. He wasn't quite sure he had picked up the subtle nuances the first time.

[OOC: Happy anniversary, FH! Gremlins modded with permission. Post is open like an open thing...]

With no classes scheduled for today, Seely decided to check out the gym and maybe get a workout in.

He was currently making use of the free weights.

So the coffee machine hadn't been cleaned out before he'd left and Krycek was definitely of the opinion that it was not his fault.

But if it hadn't been, he'd probably still be back in room 230. Instead he was out in the CR, watching Bitterwoman reruns, and hoping Jake wasn't going to wake up until he smelled coffee. Which, with any luck, would be tomorrow.

After he cleans out the filter.

Salle, morning

Zuko finally made it down to the Salle this morning. The first thing he did was go and check up on his broadswords. When he was satisfied that they weren't damange in any sort of way, he headed back to the salle itself. Taking off his brand new t-shirt and shoes, he moved to the middle of the room and took up a defensive pose. A little while later he was going through a fire fight with an imagenary opponent. Flames were fanning out every time his fist or feet hit the air and he moved smoothly from through the stances.

((Open, just keep away from the flames!))

Blair was too excited about new students, being a big brother and the fact that he was a virgin again to get a lot of sleep so he had been sitting in front of the tv in his room for several hours. There were lots of infomercials on late at night. As it got closer to morning, Blair was afraid of disturbing Broots and his fish with noise if he turned the tv up louder so he headed out to the common room to watch CNN.

Ooh! One last airing of the Pasta Express infomercial. It was no George Foreman 13 in 1 Rotisserie Bonanza, but Blair admired the simplicity of it's design. Like the fact that it was just a plastic tube with a lid.

Food had been provided and was set out on a table to the side. Near it was a list of the Big Siblings/Little Siblings pairings. Also? Helpfully? There were nametags for everyone.

There were also balloons and plenty of glitter on each of the tables that had been set out so that people could socialize.

Welcome, new people.

[ooc: Wait for my OCD, please. OCD is up! BB/BS stuff should have been emailed to you, so the list itself is handwavey. If your character didn't sign up for it and yet is on there through the magic of being OOCly mean to our kids? Call it a paperwork mixup and run with it. They seem to happen a lot here. :D

Also, all new kids, remember that you need to check in officially in here as well as doing the fun social stuff.]
