Fourth Floor Common Room - Saturday Evening

Sam had spent the better part of his day dealing with a post-Seahorse party headache, and vowing to never eat another gummi bear again. Now that he was feeling better, he'd ventured out of his room and gone upstairs to relax on the fourth floor. Flipping through the TV channels had gotten him two Bitterwoman reruns, some cartoons, a news show, and what looked like some sort of movie about pirates, which he quickly decided to leave on.

A few minutes later, when the female pirates started taking each others clothes off, Sam figured out that it wasn't just a pirate movie - it was pirate porn, and he allowed himself to be intrigued for a few moments before realizing that the common room was probably not the best place to watch this sort of thing.

Sam hit the remote to change the channel, and frowned when nothing happened. Smacking the remote against the table a few times and trying again didn't work either, so he got up, went over to the television, and hit the buttons on the front to change the channel. Still nothing. Getting more frantic, Sam reached around to the back of the television and pulled the power cord from the outlet. And yet, the pirate porn remained, and Sam found himself wondering if fleeing would be a viable option.

[*blames this entirely on the FH SPN fans, and Eric Kripke, for giving us Sam canon that consists of "He's afraid of porn."* Ahem. Open to all! The pirate porn is...eclectic, so feel free to have your character come in while a different kind of pair is going at it. All I ask is that if you're somehow capable of fixing the television, please don't. *g*]

Dick had been wandering the floors when he heard the unmistakeable sound of sex coming from the 4th floor common room. He grinned at Sam when he saw what was on the TV.

"Wow, those pirates sure know how to plunder." he says, taking a seat on the floor. "I take it you're into costumes?"

"I'm not into anything," Sam protested. This was really not what he wanted new people to be thinking about him.

"Suuuure. Whatever you say." says Dick, who wasn't looking Sam in the face when he talked to him. His eyes were fixed on the screen. "Do we like, get the Playboy channel here or something?"

"I don't think we're supposed to be seeing this. It's bad and dirty and involves tentacles being used in highly improper ways," Sam said, hoping that would convince Dick to stop watching.

"Think of it as extra credit for Sex Ed." says Dick. "Or a 'What not to do with marine life' class."

The mention of Sex Ed made Sam think of Becky, and wow, was this a bad time for that train of thought. "It's definitely educational about what not to do during sex, I have to admit."

"This must be a foreign film because I'm pretty sure half this stuff is illegal in the US." says Dick. "Canadian porn maybe?"

"I may have to change my outlook on Canada if that's the case," Sam said, his vision getting caught by the screen again.

Buffy giggled and waved hi. "It's all Sam, I swear."

"You sure about that? You were a little to quick denying any involvement." says Dick, giving Buffy a wink.

"I'm just here for the mocking and the marvelling," Buffy grinned. "I seriously had no idea you could do that with a pirate flag."

"I know! I mean, the screenwriters for this should win an award for this excellent writing." says Dick. "Oh look- apparently they've sprung a leak."

Buffy looked. "...Why are they taking off all their clothes except the hats?"

"Because they're classy!" exclaims Dick. "I mean, come on. I thought every girl was attracted to guys wearing hats with peacock feathers on them?"

"Quite a few." says Dick, laughing. "Luckily none who are as interested in frilly shirts and parrots as much as these girls are."

"Five bucks says they use the term 'buried treasure' in a dirty way before the movie ends." says Dick.

Buffy giggled. "I'm so not taking that bet." Not that she'd been paying attention to the dialogue, exactly.

"Suit yourself. But it's going to come. Not dirty." adds Dick. "I'm Dick by the way. Also not dirty."

Buffy was giggling too hard to introduce herself.

"Damn! You're right, nothing dirty about that at all." says Dick "What about the middle name? Anything I can giggle at there?"

"Darn!" says Dick "You're unmockable. That's no fair!"
