Fourth floor common room, Sunday morning

Dean was in the kitchen making breakfast for whoever happened by as he occasionally was wont to do. Hunter was with him, stalking across the back of the sofa and sniffing curiously inbetween the cushions. The tv, thankfully had been dispossessed of whatever weirdness that had had it playing pirate porn the night before and Dean had it tuned to nothing more provocative than some music videos.

All in all it was a fairly cheerful morning.

Peter was, as always, attracted by the lure of free food. "Hey Dean."

"Hey, Peter," Dean said with a grin. "Breakfast?"

"Please," Peter said. "Need help making coffee?"

"Should be some already made," Dean nodded in the direction of the coffee maker. He grinned. "Needed the caffiene to be awake enough to trust myself with a hot stove."

"I hear ya," Peter said, helping himself to a cup. "Right now I feel like death warmed over. I may down this whole pot."

"Rough Saturday night?"

"Sleeping weird," Peter said. He lowered his voice. "I feel like I'm having those dreams again."

"More flying?" Dean asked as he dished up a plate for Peter.

"That's just it, I can't remember," Peter said. He took the plate gratefully. "It's all a jumble."

Alec waved. "Morning," he greeted.

"Alec, right?" Peter said. "Nice seeing you again."

"That's me. And same," Alec said, grinning. "Have fun at the party?"

"Met nice people, saw cute girls, I'd say it was a success," Peter said. "You?"

"Had a good time - never anything but with Seahorses, though," Alec said cheerfully though his mun apologizes for passing out so early on. "So are you tired of getting confused with the other guy yet?"

No worries as Peter's mun did the same thing "I'm getting used to introducting myself as fast as I can," Peter replied. "So far there haven't been any problems but I'd hate to think of somebody confusing me and kissing me or something. Though I guess I came close with that girl Rory."

"Man, I wish I had those kind of problems," Alec said, amused. "I think most people were just getting me and Dean finally sorted out when all you new kids got here. I'm kind of resigned to hearing it for as long as I'm here, really."

Peter cocked his head and looked at Alec. "You don't act the same way Dean does. I can't put my finger on it but now that I've met the both of you there's little differences."

Artoo rolled up to Peter, beeping out a demand to be adored.

Luke rolled his eyes. "Artoo, stop bothering people."

"I'm not bothered," Peter said now that his mun was back "Hey, is this a robot?"

"And astromech droid, technically," Luke said as his mun killed gmail for eating the notification with a smile. "He helps fly my starfighter."

Artoo rolled closer, beeping a little more insistently. Luke rolled his eyes. "He's gotten a little spoiled."

"Okay, now you have to back everything up so I get 'droid' and 'starfighter'," Peter said. "Though offhand I'm going to guess you're from the future?"

Luke shook his head. "Close. Different galaxy. I'm Luke Skywalker." He held out his hand to shake.

"Peter Petrelli," Peter said, shaking Luke's hand. "Good to meet you. You new like me?"

"New-ish," Luke said. "I arrived in the fall." He smiled. "I'm still getting used to the place."
