Shooting range [after classes]
Rory being Rory, she didn't exactly know what to wear to this particular lesson. So she had just arrived at the shooting range in her sweats with her hair pulled back, and patiently waited for Luke.

This time, she singed the edge of the target.
It wasn't much, but it was progress.

He put his hands over Rory's and sighted down the barrel over her shoulder. "The blaster shot moves ridiculously quickly. You don't have to compensate for wind speed or anything. Just...focus."
He pulled the trigger. Bulls-eye.
"Could you feel the difference?"

"I don't think I could ever shoot him," she said quietly. "But my having the ability is something he's not expecting."

He leaned over and nudged her blaster a little more to the left. "Better."

He stepped towards his own target and began firing precisely at the target. "Did he say anything I should know about?" he asked after a few minutes of shooting.

He gave Rory a sympathetic look. "And he lies. That's what Sith do."
