5th Floor Common Room, Friday morning after third period

After class, Bel made his way back up to the fifth floor. Instead of heading to his room, he sat down on the couch in the common room, picking up the remote and turning on the TV. He flipped through the channels, idly looking for something to occupy a few hours.

"I've been all right," Bel said. "I'm finally getting used to being human, I think."

"That's great, man!" Blair bounced happily. "It's good to see you rolling with the punches and everything."

"I'm managing as best I can," Bel said. "I'm just trying to figure out my new place in the world."

"Have you discovered any special skills that you have as a human?" Blair asked. "Like maybe you're really good at knitting or playing the spoons?"

"Uh...or something less dorky."

"Not really," Bel said. "But I'm certain something will present itself before long. So what have you been up to?" he asked, trying to switch the subject off himself.

"I've been busy with school stuff. Classes are good. Got detention and not in Hunting which was kinda nice." Blair shrugged. "Been spending a lot of time with River, actually. A lot of time."

"You're taking Hunting?" Bel said, surprised. "How is that working out?"

"It's okay, I guess. I kinda miss protesting." Blair shrugged. "But I'm on the inside now. I tried to do the ghost exercise using therapy instead of salting and burning. But it didn't go like I planned mostly because my partner and I never finished."

"I'm hoping when he starts talking about monsters and demons, I can be a voice of reason in the class. Let everyone know that they aren't all bad."

"Of course not," Bel said. "Look at me."

"Exactly!" Blair bounced.

"Um...on that note. I kinda have a favor to ask of you."

"What is it?" Bel asked. "What can I do for you?"

"I was wondering if.." Blair blushed red and spoke in a rush. "youcouldtalktomeaboutsexmaybe."

"Excuse me?" Bel said, not sure he had heard that right.

Blair figured that it was like pulling off a band-aid. It would be less embarrassing if he just did it fast. "I want to know if we could talk about sex."

Nope...still embarrassing.

The Source of All most assuredly did not flail.

"Phoebe might have a problem with that," he said, trying to let Blair down easy.

"Why would Phoebe have a problem with it? She likes me." Blair shrugged. "I think she'd be happy about it."

"I don't think she's open to...sharing," Bel said.

"I don't think that's fair." Blair frowned. "She's shared stuff with me before."

"She has?" Bel exclaimed.

Blair blinked and nodded warily. "Yeah, man. When I was really upset about protesting and everyone being mad at me. Phoebe just wanted to cheer me up."

"Are you okay, man?"

Killing Blair hadn't been anywhere on the list of the Source's priorities. Unless he tried to hug him, of course. Now his name was moved to the top of the list.

"You had sex with my girlfriend and now you're bragging about it?" Bel growled. "I can't believe this."

Blair was so thrown off by the growling that he almost missed the 'sex with Phoebe' part of the sentence.

"Whoa, down boy. I didn't say that at all!"

"Yes you did!" Bel accused, rapidly approaching near-flail status.

"Nuh-uh!" Blair shook his head. "I said she shared stuff with me!"
