Polexia slept in late after her night out at Caritas.

But when she woke up, she was bored and ended up wandering down to the common room. She figured out how to work the television and was very excited to find something called MTV that was showing music videos.

She dug through the cabinets and fridge and found some suitable snacks and settled in to watch this fascinating thing.


[open, as common rooms are. Marie is Polexia from Almost Famous, so she's from the early 70s. She also doesn't have Marie's mutation, so she's not covered up and she can touch people.]

"Oh, how I appeared in here?" Bel said. "It's how I travel to spread love and joy to the world."

"Awesome," Polexia said. "Do you spread love and joy through music?"

"I do sometimes sing," Bel said demurely.

"Really?" Polexia asked, excited. "Are you with anyone?"

"With?" Bel said, cocking his head. "What do you mean?"

"A group," Polexia explained. "Or are you solo?"

"I work alone quite often," Bel said. "But on occasion I work with others in the Brotherhood of the Rose."

"Brotherhood of the Rose?" Polexia asked. "Never heard of them. Do they have any albums out?"

"Not that I'm aware of," Bel mused, "but it's possible."

"You should sing me one of their songs," Polexia suggested.

"Certainly," Bel said, beaming. I hate you.

He cleared his throat and began:

"You're definitely good at spreading love and joy," Polexia told him.

"It's what I was born to do," Bel said proudly.

"If you need any... inspiration... let me know," Polexia offered.

"Certainly," Bel said. "Would you like to share love? I find it very inspirational."

Polexia grinned and slid closer to Bel. "I could probably be persuaded."

"Excellent," Bel said, smiling. "Sharing love is a wonderful thing."

"It certainly is," Polexia agreed.

"Would you like to go to another room?" Bel offered. He didn't want to assume she was an exhibitionist.

"Maybe in a little while," Polexia suggested, not wanting to commit to anything in case someone with better connections came along.

"Very well," Bel said. "When you are ready, just say the word."

Yeah, this was too good to not had some sort of record of. Cameron snapped a quick picture and then hit speeddial. He really hoped it was going to go over to voicemail.
