5th Floor Common Room - Sunday Afternoon

Polexia slept in late after her night out at Caritas.

But when she woke up, she was bored and ended up wandering down to the common room. She figured out how to work the television and was very excited to find something called MTV that was showing music videos.

She dug through the cabinets and fridge and found some suitable snacks and settled in to watch this fascinating thing.


[open, as common rooms are. Marie is Polexia from Almost Famous, so she's from the early 70s. She also doesn't have Marie's mutation, so she's not covered up and she can touch people.]

Cameron had been doing homework like things the previous day, so he had managed to escape the insanity. Radio had been weird, but when is radio not weird? It might have been a bad decision to wander up to the 5th floor.

Polexia didn't look up from the spellbinding music videos on the television since she assumed whoever it was that had entered the room wasn't speaking to her.

He chuckled and looked at the television. "That interesting, huh?"

"I'm sorry, were you talking to me?" Polexia asked, looking up at him with confusion. "This is a television station that shows nothing but music videos. It's amazing."

"I did say Marie," he said, giving her a bemused look. It wasn't until then that he realised the lack of white streak. "Unless you're a new student who just happens to look like her."

"My name is Polexia," she replied.

After leaving the room Street had found earlier, Peter had been wandering the grounds and hallways of this odd building. He couldn't quite tell what it was except that no one seemed to have an issue about him being here. And there was food sometimes.

He wandered into to one of the big open rooms drawn by music and, once he got in, pretty people. "Hey," he said shortly.

"That's... an interesting name. Nice to meet you. I'm Cameron," he said, holding out his hand.

"Hey," Polexia replied. "Have you ever heard of this MTV?"

"Nice to meet you, too, Cameron," Polexia replied, taking his hand and holding it for a moment too long.

A shimmer of glittery white lights -- and then Bel appeared in the room. "Blessings and love to you all," he said.

"How are you liking Fandom so far?" Cameron asked, pulling his hand back.

"Yo, Peter," Cameron waved at him.

"It's not bad," Polexia said. "Kind of lacking in the live music scene though."

"I don't think so," Peter said with a warm smile for her. "What is it?"

There really was no much more to do for Cameron but stare.

"Woah, that was far out," Polexia said, staring in amazement at Bel.

Peter raised an eyebrow as he didn't recognise the voice then glanced the other boy over. "Hel-lo to you."

"It shows nothing but music videos," Polexia said, smiling back. "It's all happening."

"I don't know about that. There's the zombie band and Zero's band," he replied.

"Good evening!" Bel beamed.

"Oh, how I appeared in here?" Bel said. "It's how I travel to spread love and joy to the world."

"I saw the zombie band last night," Polexia said. "It's an interesting gimick and they weren't bad, but they're no Stillwater."

"How's it going?" Cameron asked, only barely keeping from asking questions about exploding hair products.

"Awesome," Polexia said. "Do you spread love and joy through music?"
