5th Floor Common Room - Monday, late afternoon
Annette was laying on the couch, on her belly, ankles crossed; a pillow shoved up under her arms. She was flipping through the television channels, not really paying attention to what was on. A minute here a minute there, nothing really snapping out at her. Her mind was too preoccupied thinking about who and what she met and talked to over the weekend. It was totally...mind consuming.
Frozen pizza was in the oven cooking. She knew she could do that. Just had to take the plastic off and stick it in the oven. She forgot to read how long it took to cook though. When she could smell it good, then she would know it was done. Hopefully. Annette wasn't too bright in the kitchen department.

The blonde also-a-new-cheerleader (Annette?) she was almost sure about, and when she got closer, the dark-haired girl she was talking to looked like a pretty close match, too. Interrupting was rude, but she was kind of far down the "polite" scale at this point, all things considered.
So she cleared her throat and stepped forward and tried not to die of complete mortification. "Hi! Uh, are either of you guys ... uh ... missing anything?"

"Last night when I took my clothes off, I realized I had lost a good bit of change and a pack of juicy fruit."
no subject
"I, uh, I kind of ... I'm really sorry. And I don't know if all the change is there because it was all in a pile but I tried to make my best guess but if it isn't tell me and I'll fix it. And I'm ... really sorry. A lot."

"It's okay. I'm not sure how you got it, but it's okay, really." And it was funny that she could be pickpocketed so easy. Well, not really funny. She could have had a good bit of money in her pocket. But it was just gum and change so she was cool with it.
"You could have just kept it; it wouldn't have mattered at all. But thanks for returning it, I appreciate it."

"Let me know, I mean, about the change. Most of the stuff I could sort out, but the change kind of clumped together. And I'm sorry, and I swear I'm not usually like this."

She tilted her head, grinning. "So, what were you, or rather who were you?"
no subject
"I was - I think I was a fairy?! I was about this big" - she holds her hands out "- and I had wings and I flew around pickpocketing people and looking for treasure." Her eyes widen a bit. "And I have no idea why."

"I don't know if they happen alot or not. I'm new this year. But I hear the last thing happening was the troll invasion last year."
Annette laughed. "Ohh! How fun! I would have loved to seen you!"
no subject
"I'm sorry you didn't get to see me. I had the cutest little outfit, with ribbons and everything, and scarf wings." She cracked up. "I guess I should have been louder!"
"I'm new, too. You're Annette, right? One of the other cheerleaders?"
