2nd Floor Common Room, Tuesday Night

The common room was decked out in Christmas lights and white streamers, all up very high thanks to Chad's help. In honor of the theme, there were torn out pages from mens' magazines decorating the walls of the room. And more than a few of shirtless men as a nod to those of the female or gay alien persuasion.

A sign hung over the entrance because the theme was important.

Not allowed in unless you're showing at least 50% of your skin

And yes, there were pies of almost every flavour imaginable, especially considering how quickly random objects in the room turned into pie.

[[ooc: Please wait for OCD is up, have at it!]]

Jake looked at the sign, then at the people in the common room. He went back to his room and came back a moment later sans sweater but plus sketchbook.

Turtle spotted the sketchbook and arched an eyebrow with a look of approval.

Jake grinned back at her. "I leave the photographs to the professionals."

"Still, very clever," Turtle complimented, while trying to tell herself she wasn't really talking to a cute guy without a shirt. Really.

"Why, thank you." Jake gave her a pleased look. He pointed his pencil at her. "Care to model for a moment?"

Eeeeep. Turtle ducked her head, chuckling a little to help keep her blush from getting way too out of control. "Sure!" she said when she recovered a little, race red as a tomato and a big, dopey grin on her face and she struck an equally dopey pose.

Jake snickered. He sketched quickly, in case his pencil turned into pie. And after not very long, he turned his pad towards her, showing her a very flattering version of herself. In a dopey pose, of course.

"What do you think?"

Turtle bit her lip. Maaaan, she was a dork...And not wearing much in the way of clothing, either. Her toes wiggled nervously in the carpet.

"You're really good," was all she could say for her blushing.

"Thanks," he smiled, somewhat oblivious to the blushing. What? That shade of red could be her natural face colour! "It's all in the choice of models, really. Nice hair," he added. "I don't think I've seen anyone with a hair that long that around here."

*facepalm*

"Oh," Turtle chuckled nervously, went to go stroke her braid like she usually would, but then remembered that she was actually wearing it down, so she just ended up sort of awkwardly patting at it. "Thanks. I've been growing it out for a long time. I usually braid it."
