2nd Floor Common Room, Tuesday Night

The common room was decked out in Christmas lights and white streamers, all up very high thanks to Chad's help. In honor of the theme, there were torn out pages from mens' magazines decorating the walls of the room. And more than a few of shirtless men as a nod to those of the female or gay alien persuasion.

A sign hung over the entrance because the theme was important.

Not allowed in unless you're showing at least 50% of your skin

And yes, there were pies of almost every flavour imaginable, especially considering how quickly random objects in the room turned into pie.

There's a box nest to the door for any clothing that needs to be removed in order to get into the party.

Hopefully any clothing in there won't turn into pie.

Look, Anders lived next door. He peered at the sign, ducked into his room for a few minutes, and came into the common room in boxer shorts.

And a turtleneck.

Pippi is wearing the traditional garb of a Cannibal Princess of Kurrakurradutt.

This involves an itty bitty top with sea shells and pearls, short grass skirt decorated with sea shells and pearls, and several long strands of pearls wrapped around... the right places.

Stark was not bold enough to be walking around the dorm half-dressed. So when he came out of his room to investigate the noises in the common room and saw the sign above the door, he promptly turned to flee back to the safety of his room.

He might have stared, just a little, before the fleeing commenced.

Neil had heard about the party but he as he'd never seen Emma Frost he wasn't prepared for the sign that was hung over the entrance.

His steps slowed and Neil pulled a face as he looked from the sign down to his tidy self. Coming to the doorway he peered into the common room, blushing as he saw the other party goers, male and female, getting into the spirit of the instructions.

"Oh boy." He muttered, looking down at his shoes and then back up. The box caught his eye, as did the clothing that had obviously been deposited there but though he fingered the hem of his sweater, he just...couldn't.

The party part had certianly drawn them to the second floor common room tonight. However, upon seeing the sign above the door, they started to re-think their decision to go at all. Tonight wasn't really feeling like a shirtless night... so once they'd taken a quick trip upstairs to change into more tank-topish sounds girly, but seriously the only way to describe shirts and shorts, they felt better about going into the half-naked room.

Nadia arrived in a turtleneck, jacket, scarf, fingerless gloves, jeans, and her traditional steel toed boots.

In deference to the sign, she made herself a nametag with "your skin" written on it, and made sure it was mostly visible despite the drape of her scarf.

Yeah, sometimes she's a smart ass.

Also, she's cold.

Irulan entered the common room, impelled by curiousity. She was still fully dress and the only consolation to the rule was that she was barefoot. Anyone who would try to divest her of such clothings will only recieve a patient but stern Imperial Look.

If she could manage it, she's still boggling over the pictures of barechested men. She's seen ment without shirts before, during training but never so... so... blatant.

Nova was still recovering from his mopey coma, feeling that he could finally handle human contact again. He made his way to the second floor and stopped to read the sign over the common room with a puzzled frown.

And no, the mun did not just spend an hour looking for a shirtless Nova pic cuz that would be oh so creepy.

Okay, so, Turtle could totally try this slutty dressy thing. Tank top and a little plaid skirt that she never wore.

The valiant effort on her part really turned out more awkward than anything, but she wasn't going to just sit in her room like a loser, listening to market reports in her room, while a party was going on down the hall. Excessive and uncomfortable displays of skin or not.

Besides, she could listen to her stock reports here, too. She popped in an earpiece to her little radio into one ear, keeping half her attention on the report.

And no braid, either....bitches.
