2nd Floor Common Room, Tuesday Night

The common room was decked out in Christmas lights and white streamers, all up very high thanks to Chad's help. In honor of the theme, there were torn out pages from mens' magazines decorating the walls of the room. And more than a few of shirtless men as a nod to those of the female or gay alien persuasion.

A sign hung over the entrance because the theme was important.

Not allowed in unless you're showing at least 50% of your skin

And yes, there were pies of almost every flavour imaginable, especially considering how quickly random objects in the room turned into pie.

Rikku giggled. "Totally. Wow, I should have worn leather." She looked around the room appreciatively. "Do you guys have parties like this a lot?"

"As far as I know, shirtless days happen on a fairly regular basis. But this is different." Demyx shrugged, resting his hands in his pockets. "Any excuse to show skin is a good excuse!"

"That's what I say!" She laughed. "Hey, shirtless days sound like a blast. How come I never get invited to those?"

"Are you new?" Demyx asked bluntly. "I don't think it's really an invitation thing. It's more of a see-it-and-join-in as far as I know." He grinned. "Or you can start it yourself and see if people will join in."

"Yup!" Rikku grinned. "Just got here. Still trying to figure out what's going on."

She bounced a bit at his suggestion. "That's a thought! Or maybe have parties like this more regularly. Seems like you can get away with it more if it's a party. So it's not just 'Hi, everybody, I didn't get dressed today.'"

Rikku bounced. "It could be a weekly thing! 'Remember, every Tuesday is the half-dressed party.' Hmm, seems like you'd need a different day, so you could do something fun with the name."

"Yeah, something like that! But keep the really cool parties for just once or twice a month, to keep them from getting boring or anything."
