2nd Floor Common Room, Tuesday Night

The common room was decked out in Christmas lights and white streamers, all up very high thanks to Chad's help. In honor of the theme, there were torn out pages from mens' magazines decorating the walls of the room. And more than a few of shirtless men as a nod to those of the female or gay alien persuasion.

A sign hung over the entrance because the theme was important.

Not allowed in unless you're showing at least 50% of your skin

And yes, there were pies of almost every flavour imaginable, especially considering how quickly random objects in the room turned into pie.

Anders made a shape with his hands about the size of a large grapefruit. "Avoid the defenders, get the ball into the goal, and try not to get the everliving frak beat out of you on the way? It's . . . way more exciting than that sounds, but every time I actually try to explain it people's eyes start to glaze over."

"Little bit," Anders agreed. "Little like basketball too, only both teams share the same goal. Not that basketball will let you tackle," he added, rolling his eyes.

Stupid basketball and its wussy-ass fouls.

Okay, so, basketball with tackling? Turtle's head tilted. "I think...it's something I might just have to see for myself."

"Very full-contact sport. Total bitch to RP because canon is complete vagueness on the rules. Rough, lots of people grabbing each other." Anders nodded sagely. "I'm told that's a selling point, sometimes."

Turtle grinned a little. "That does make it sound like fun," she admitted. And blamed all the skin around her on the specific images that came to her head of tackling a few choice people, starting with Anders and then moving through a list. A few of them, yes, were merely to cause pain. She snorted a laugh at the thought of Hikaru crying like a girl because he couldn't take the hit. Mwa ha ha.
