Fifth floor common room, Wednesday evening

Nadia had set herself up in the kitchen with a large pot full of a watered-down mix of black ink, dye, and latex paint, and lots and lots of newspaper.

She was currently attempting to get the stuffed, winged pink pony into the pot.

"No, no, it's lots of fun, I promise!"

"It doesn't look very nice or happy or friendly," the pony would reply.

"Just get in the pot!"

"Why don't we play Candyland instead?" asked the pony.

It wasn't going well.

"What's wrong happy pony? Don't you like the soothing bath your special happy friend has gone through allll the trouble of preparing for you?" Pippi asked. "You've been prancing around all day making happy special friends I bet. You could probably use a nice relaxing bath... I wish I had such a considerate special happy friend who'd do such nice things for me..."

The pony continued to look at the pot dubiously. "It isn't nice or happy to bathe in public," it said primly.

Nadia quietly facepalmed.

"Spa treatments are perfectly acceptable to have with other people around." Pippi countered. "You shouldn't be so quick to poo-poo Nadia's nice gesture, particularly after the whole leg humping debacle."

The pony seemed to remember that it didn't like Pippi, and turned up a snubbish nose at her.

Nadia sighed, grabbed the pony, and proceeded to try and shove it into the pot.

"See?" Pippi says looking down at the plush Moonbeast. "This is what comes from humping legs."

The pony flailed wildly, at one point managing to catch Nadia's chin with a plush pink hoof.

This had no discernable effect, other than making the hoof let out a cute squeak.

"Aaaaalmost," Nadia muttered.

"Stay on target."

And then, suddenly, the pony was in the pot.

It let out a keening wail and thrashed about, but Nadia was determined to get each and every part of it into the liquid.

Nevermind the fact that it was splattering the dye/ink/paint mixture all over her. "Just a little more. . . ."

Then, at last, it was done. The pony stopped flailing, and Nadia let go. It sat up in the pot, shaking excess dye from itself in a manner not unlike that of a dog, and looked up at Nadia with now black on black eyes.

"Thanks, Toots," it said.

Pippi didn't say anything, she just watched.

This should be interesting.

Nadia blinked a bit and nodded. "No problem."

"Seriously," said the pony, climbing out of the pot and shaking a few droplets from its hooves. "I was starting to annoy even myself."

Pippi actually kinda wonders why Nadia hadn't done this earlier, before it came to life.

She hadn't gotten around to it.

The pony struck a pose. "How do I look?"

"Monochromatic."

Like a whore.

"It's cool."

"Thanks! I think I like it."

"It suits you I think." Pippi said before turning to Nadia.

"Are you going to go to Dean's party tonight?"

"I hadn't been planning on it . . . I don't think I heard about it. Why?"

"I was thinking of just dropping of a gift for him and then going to the dance club."

"Sounds like it could be fun,"

Yeah, I feel like dancing."

"Are you going to drag Pip along?"

"That was the idea. Ya."
