Fifth floor common room, Wednesday evening

Nadia had set herself up in the kitchen with a large pot full of a watered-down mix of black ink, dye, and latex paint, and lots and lots of newspaper.

She was currently attempting to get the stuffed, winged pink pony into the pot.

"No, no, it's lots of fun, I promise!"

"It doesn't look very nice or happy or friendly," the pony would reply.

"Just get in the pot!"

"Why don't we play Candyland instead?" asked the pony.

It wasn't going well.

Pippi walks into the Common Room with the Cheer Doll still on her shoulder and now followed by two plush lobsters and a moonbeast (http://strongestgirl.livejournal.com/87895.html).

"Making dinner?"

"Hey, Pippi!" Annette waves a hand about, indicating Pippi's toys. "Oh. Cute."

The pony turned to stare at Pippi with a look of helpless shock. "I'm not food!"

Nadia shook her head in exasperation. "I know that, pony, I'm just trying to make you super-duper pretty!" This last was said in a painfully cute tone of voice to appease the wretched beast.

It didn't appear to be working.

"Okay," Billy said. "What is that?" he pointed to the Moonbeast. yay Lovecraft Plushies!

Annette poked her head in before she left for Caritas. "Hey, Nadia. What ya doing there?"

"Attempting to defeat the evil of the flying pink pony," Nadia said, as she began pondering the wisdom of just dumping the mixture over the pony's head.

Billy had hoped to find Nadia. "Hey Nadia can you heellll..." he trailed off when he saw what was going on. "They do exist."

"Apparently," Nadia muttered. "What were you asking, Billy?"

Tori felt like wandering the dorms for a bit, Flipper in her arms. He had whistled and jumped around until she let him out into the hallways.

She decided to make a pit stop on the fifth floor and walked into the common room, Flipper on her heels. "Hey Nadia. What are you up to?" Yes, that was Flipper making whistling noises again.

Nadia glanced up. "I'm trying to dye--" the pony was looking at her expectantly, and she stretched her mouth into a slightly painful looking grin. "I'm trying to make happy friends with the pony." She looked back down at the thing. "Now get in the pot!"

Pippi's two plush lobsters hid behind the plush Moonbeast (http://www.pegasuspublishing.com/xcart/files/pics/tv/d_8095.jpg) making distressed lobster noises when they noticed Flipper.

"No, I don't think he's going to eat you guys."

"It's not fair, Tori," Annette said, looking down at her cute little dolphin. "That's so cute. I have a pig from hell that wants to possibly eat me."

"There are things in my room and they are talking." Broots said as he came in.

"That would likely be Blair." Pippi offered.

Anders had three dozen still-brawling sports action figures following him into the common room as he came down from the roof.

And he froze in his tracks when he saw the pink pony, causing a small plastic pileup at his heels.

"Holy frak, they're real?!?"

"Yeah, that was kind of my reaction, too," Nadia said tiredly.

The pony looked up at Anders with big, wobbly, cutesy eyes. "Will you be my specially happy friend?"

Annette choked back her laughter at seeing the action figures. Really. She had thought she had seen it all by now.

Tori spotted Anders and the action figures following him and laughed.

"I see they calmed down? And you're still sane."

Staying in the room with a plague (http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/plush/6708/images/1797/) literally trying to get into your panties just wasn't working so, Ranma the Plague perched on her shoulders and trying to crawl up into her ponytail, Setsuna went searching for distraction. Wound up here. Whooo.

Naomi did not trust leaving Flotter (http://ktarian-wildman.livejournal.com/7449.html) alone in her room so that was why she was taking him with her into the common room.

"Let me guess," Anders said. "He's alive too?"

"Look, while we're on timeout, can we at least negotiate a contract extension?" piped up one of the baseball figures beside the couch.

Anders glowered. "Shut up, all of you!"
