Fifth floor common room, Wednesday evening

Nadia had set herself up in the kitchen with a large pot full of a watered-down mix of black ink, dye, and latex paint, and lots and lots of newspaper.

She was currently attempting to get the stuffed, winged pink pony into the pot.

"No, no, it's lots of fun, I promise!"

"It doesn't look very nice or happy or friendly," the pony would reply.

"Just get in the pot!"

"Why don't we play Candyland instead?" asked the pony.

It wasn't going well.

Pippi walks into the Common Room with the Cheer Doll still on her shoulder and now followed by two plush lobsters and a moonbeast (http://strongestgirl.livejournal.com/87895.html).

"Making dinner?"

Annette poked her head in before she left for Caritas. "Hey, Nadia. What ya doing there?"

Billy had hoped to find Nadia. "Hey Nadia can you heellll..." he trailed off when he saw what was going on. "They do exist."

Tori felt like wandering the dorms for a bit, Flipper in her arms. He had whistled and jumped around until she let him out into the hallways.

She decided to make a pit stop on the fifth floor and walked into the common room, Flipper on her heels. "Hey Nadia. What are you up to?" Yes, that was Flipper making whistling noises again.

"Hey, Pippi!" Annette waves a hand about, indicating Pippi's toys. "Oh. Cute."

The pony turned to stare at Pippi with a look of helpless shock. "I'm not food!"

Nadia shook her head in exasperation. "I know that, pony, I'm just trying to make you super-duper pretty!" This last was said in a painfully cute tone of voice to appease the wretched beast.

It didn't appear to be working.

"Attempting to defeat the evil of the flying pink pony," Nadia said, as she began pondering the wisdom of just dumping the mixture over the pony's head.

"Apparently," Nadia muttered. "What were you asking, Billy?"

Nadia glanced up. "I'm trying to dye--" the pony was looking at her expectantly, and she stretched her mouth into a slightly painful looking grin. "I'm trying to make happy friends with the pony." She looked back down at the thing. "Now get in the pot!"

"Oh." Annette stepped closer, folding her arms around her waist and peering into the pot. She glanced at the pink pony. "Is it really evil?"

"Hey Annette! Didja have fun at practice today?" Pippi waved back. "Thank you."

Wormy the Moonbeast (http://www.pegasuspublishing.com/xcart/files/pics/tv/d_8095.jpg) made happy lobster noises and wriggled the tentales on his head at being called "cute".

"Ooooh! I see! You've made a nice relaxing hot bath for your little pony friend!" Pippi squeed.

"It got into a fight with a stuffed turtle in class, attempted to ram Pippi at practice, and has generally been trying to tell me I can't do anything that I want to do because it isn't 'nice'."

"I did, thank you!" Annette giggled back at her plushy toy. "It is soo cute! Gordon, my pink pig, is pissed at me. I had to lock him in the closet before I left my room."

The pony looked up at Nadia, who looked at Pippi with baffled astonishment.

"Yes," she said, shocked look still in place. "Yeeeeees, that's exactly it! So in you go, special friend pony!"

The pony went to peer at the pot dubiously.

Pippi's two plush lobsters hid behind the plush Moonbeast (http://www.pegasuspublishing.com/xcart/files/pics/tv/d_8095.jpg) making distressed lobster noises when they noticed Flipper.

"No, I don't think he's going to eat you guys."

She smacked her hand over her mouth to keep from laughing. But oh my god, it was funny!

"So...it's a black, smelly bath?"

Tori stifled a laugh. "Well, that's nice, making friends with the cute pony." Yeah, the pony wasn't going to get in the pot anytime soon; at least that's what it looked like to her.

Flipper squeaked and hid behind Tori's leg, apparently afraid of the pot.

"Hey." Tori smiled, noticing the lobsters. She laughed when Flipper was at her side, well ankle, squeaking and looking like he was playing hide and seek.

"Flipper's not going to eat you guys, don't worry. He wouldn't hurt a fly."

"What's wrong happy pony? Don't you like the soothing bath your special happy friend has gone through allll the trouble of preparing for you?" Pippi asked. "You've been prancing around all day making happy special friends I bet. You could probably use a nice relaxing bath... I wish I had such a considerate special happy friend who'd do such nice things for me..."

The lobsters and the Moonbeast made relieved lobster noises. (Yes, it seems Moonbeasts, or at least plush ones, make lobster noises.

They had a short conversation and then started chasing eachother around Pippi and Tori's feet.

"I lost him for three days, and this morning, he came alive and was apparently mad at me for it. I offered him cookies. He even tried to attack Cally."

Billy shook himself out of his surprise. "Uh I was wondering if you could help me out, I'm still trying to gather intel on these attacks. But you seem to be busy."
