3rd Floor Common Room - all afternoon

Parker and Isabel had been ranging the hallways, trying to find a way to communicate; but even mouthing words wasn't very effective.

Throwing herself onto the Third Floor Common Room couch, Parker glared at the ceiling, trying to think of a solution for their dilemma.

Parker shook her head, still furious, but slowly regaining control over her temper. She tried to say Bel, but it didn't even form on her lips. She mimed smoking a cigarette, then pointed at Anders again, eyes furious.

"Seriously?" Anders reached for his pack and started to hold it out to her, then thought better of it, carefully plucked one cigarette out, and offered it to Parker.

Parker put her hands over her face, then screamed without sound again.

Then she grabbed the damn cigarette. What the hell.

Ooooo! She made motions for a lighter, then tried to make poof-motions with her hands again, hoping Daisy would get it through his thick head that she was referring to Bel.

"Yes, yes," Anders said with a sigh, "I know it's going to kill me someday."

Parker screamed again, with huge gestures of Not if I do it first!, miming whapping him to death, then grabbing the lighter and lighting up. She held the lit flame in front of Anders' face menacingly, then closed it. Open. Close. Open. Close.

C'mon, Daisy, do the math. Please?

Anders just gave her an even more perplexed look. "You're trying to hypnotize the habit right out of me? That's really sweet and all, but it's not gonna work."

Parker gave up. It was either that or beat him to death with a pillow cushion. She sent him one last furious glare, and took a drag on he cigarette. Later for you, Daisy!

Yeah, that gesture's British, not American, but it probably doesn't look very victorious or anything.
