Fourth Floor Common Room, Evening

As had become tradition for StuCo sponsored events, a large table was off to one side, covered with snacks and tubs of drinks.

The chairs and couches had all been pushed to the walls, leaving the center of the floor open for the whose ever turn it was.

Isabel rushed around collecting last minute ideas for things to be acted out.

Tori pondered the movements and wondered what she could be. "Are you some kind of animal?" It was a total guess.

Door nods and grins happily, then thinks on how to specify further.

She wanders over to one of the potted plants in the corner of the Common Room and begins 'eating' the leaves with her hand.

"A dinosaur!" Molly called.

Door gives the sign for 'close' but shakes her head.

She mimes eating more leaves, then traces the other hand allllllllll the way down her raised arm to her throat. Which she covers with her palm, and then shakes her head again.

Okay, it was an animal. Now what animals ate leaves?

"Kangaroo?"

Door shakes her head and does the throat-touching/head-shaking no-talky motion that she made for Molly.

Hrm. "Are you a giraffe?"

Door nods happily and then makes the 'weetiny' sign by peering at her pinched thumb and forefinger.

And this time she does it from her own account.

Door nods and makes the 'cloooose but not quite' motion with those same two fingers.

Tori bit her lip in concentration and then it was as if a lightbulb turned on, over her head.

"Is it a weetiny giraffe?" She had her about that weekend. She wished she had been there to see everything.

Door nods again, but frowns at trying to get the exact word across. Then she remembers the tiny statuette hanging about her neck, from DAMM class.

She pulls the chain off her neck and sets the little boar/bull/cheap BBC props department rarr on a table. She sketches the shape of a life-sized one in the air, then points to the tiny statue on the table.

"Miniature giraffe?" Tori guesses from what Door had just acted out.

"Named Earl!" Door says with a nod, because seriously, the only clue she could come up with for 'Earl'? kind of gross, and she'd really rather not repeat it.
