Fourth Floor Common Room, Evening

As had become tradition for StuCo sponsored events, a large table was off to one side, covered with snacks and tubs of drinks.

The chairs and couches had all been pushed to the walls, leaving the center of the floor open for the whose ever turn it was.

Isabel rushed around collecting last minute ideas for things to be acted out.

"Really? I like the legend of Arthur but the whole Arthur, Guineviere, Lancelot triangle frustrates me," she admitted. "What was the point?"

"No idea," Anders admitted. "Maybe it was just less disturbing than the whole Arthur/Morgana thing?"

"Oh gah! Yes! Absolutely!" Isabel exclaimed, horrified. "That's just tacky."

"Yeah, tell me about it," Anders agreed. "I just didn't want to think about that after Wyatt mentioned it. Did I mention Earth has some weird history?"

"Ya think? And your Lords are sort of the equivalent of our Greek gods right?" she asked, curious. "Are the stories the same? Zeus hooks up with lots of different women? Usually as some sort of animal?"

"And it gets better," Anders told her. "Athena, like, commits suicide by throwing herself off the top of a temple. Even my religion has emo."

"And some things are universal. Like roofs and emo going together," Isabel said, rolling her eyes.

"Oh my lords," Anders said, staring at her. "I never even thought of it that way -- thanks a lot, Athena."

Isabel laughed. "Oh look at the bright side! It means even though you're from a galaxy far, far away, we're really not all that different!"

"See?" Anders crossed his arms over his chest and grinned. "Earth is totally the Thirteenth Colony."

"So does that make us long lost cousins?" she grinned back at him.

"Fifty thousand times removed, maybe," Anders teased. "Close enough to count in my book."

"Damn straight. That's it! I'm claiming you now," Isabel smiled. "You're family!"

Anders snickered. "Does that mean I can act like your annoying little brother now?"

"You can't be any worse then the annoying twin brother," she pointed out.

"And I get certain protection by being the little brother," Anders added puckishly.

"Of course. I'll kick the ass of anyone that teases you."

"Aw." Anders moved over to give her a hug. "Thanks, big sis -- if I can call you that."

"I suppose you can," Isabel smiled, returning the hug happily. "But if you break into my room and read my diary? The only ass getting kicked will be yours!"

"I wouldn't dream of it," Anders said with a grin. "Some things are sacred, you know."

Because apparently panty raids were a whole different animal. So to speak.
