Fourth Floor Common Room, Evening

As had become tradition for StuCo sponsored events, a large table was off to one side, covered with snacks and tubs of drinks.

The chairs and couches had all been pushed to the walls, leaving the center of the floor open for the whose ever turn it was.

Isabel rushed around collecting last minute ideas for things to be acted out.

"Erm, cause, ummm..." Cally weakly flailed. "Bel. And stuff."

"Oh." Anders rubbed at the back of his neck and flailed a little himself. "Well, yeah. Relatively speaking and all. I didn't actually get taken to hell, so . . . hey, it could be worse."

"Yeah," Cally said. This was the sort of awkwardness she'd been hoping to avoid.

Which, according to Murphy's Law, kind of meant it was inevitable.

"So yeah," he said. "I'm doing okay. Been staying with Bridge the past couple weeks, since he's being all overprotective future-cop-slash-best-friend-y."

Anders found he had no response to that but to stick out his tongue. "Have I mentioned I'm glad you're okay? Give you a hug if you want it."

"I'm always up for hugs," Cally replied, opening her arms.

Anders took a step over and gave her a big, but still kind of careful, hug. "There. Don't go worrying everybody like that again, okay?"
