Second Floor Common Room, Sunday Evening

The television had decided it had a mind of its own, or it was just glitchy. Every few minutes a new show would come on. First it was that crazy soap opera with the dummy/puppet boy, then it was Wormhole X-treme: Shangri-La, then Bitterwoman (of course).

Kawalsky was in the common room with a couple of pizzas, knowing that it was always wise to bring extra if you were going to eat in a public space.

"Said I was, didn' I?" Zero asked as she reached for a slice of pizza. "It happens, now an' again. Word of advice? Don' touch Special Collections books bare-handed."

"Thanks, I'll remember that." Miley said, wondering for a moment if whatever made Zero turn into a cat was contagious. "Not that I've spent a lot of time in the library yet. The classes are kinda weird."
