Second Floor Common Room, Sunday Evening

The television had decided it had a mind of its own, or it was just glitchy. Every few minutes a new show would come on. First it was that crazy soap opera with the dummy/puppet boy, then it was Wormhole X-treme: Shangri-La, then Bitterwoman (of course).

Kawalsky was in the common room with a couple of pizzas, knowing that it was always wise to bring extra if you were going to eat in a public space.

"Nah, I didn't do anything wrong. More in the 'my family thinks I'm dead and I have to stay that way to protect them' kind of cut off."

"Uh...actually, I don't. What?"

"Think of it kind of like a warped witness protection program, only I didn't rat on the mob or anything."

"Okay." Miley wasn't sure what to say to that, but she had watched enough TV to know that he probably couldn't answer a lot of questions. "As long as you didn't rat on the mob. I'm a big mob supporter from way back. They do a great job on car explosions."

Kawalsky grinned. "And I know how big a fan you are of those. Is it just cars, or are you a big fan of explosions in general?"

"Depends." Miley leaned back and thought for a moment. "My explosion experience is limited to cars and the occasional convience store that I run into during video games. But considering it's all fire and booms, I'd like other explosions too."

"I like explosions too. Whadda ya know, we have stuff in common. Pizza, video games and explosions."

"You'll have to let me know the next time you're going to have a video game marathon." Miley grinned. "It'll help with my explosion-deficency and I'll even bring the pizza."
