Second Floor Common Room, Monday Evening

Krycek had gone to the common room to veg out a bit, but found himself wrestling with a goat for charge of the remote. "You can't even use it!"

"Maaa!"

"I'm not watching MTV," Krycek growled. "Just give it--"

*SNAP*

The goat jumped to the back of the couch with the ruined remains of the remote in his mouth, looking smug.

"You are really annoying," Krycek muttered as he got up to change the channel manually.

"Goat's fault, not mine," Krycek said dryly. "He ate the remote, too."

Hamlet dropped down on the couch. "At least mocking the materialism of selfish teenagers is amusing."

He looked over at the goat. "Is that a regular goat, or someone I should know? Professor Skeeter's not back in town, is she?"

"I think it's a student," he said, and grimaced. "I hope she's not back - I was hoping to get through my senior year without ever seeing her again."

Hamlet offered a part of the TV Guide to the goat, trying to see if it would eat the paper.

"Any clues as to who ended up stuck as a goat? Or whether or not it's a harbinger of great impending menace or merely normal Fandom oddness?"

Alec took the paper in his mouth and chewed thoughtfully. It was edible anyway, so he kept eating it, tail wagging contentedly.

"I'm guessing a student, but I don't think it likes me," Krycek said, shrugging as he watched the goat chew on the pages. "I'd like to think a harbinger would be a little more impressive than a little goat."

"You never can be sure," he said, shaking his finger. "Back in Europe, I've heard tell of a demonic goat who rides a Vespa and eats the unwary."

"A demonic goat," Krycek repeated. "...Why does it ride a Vespa?"

"I hate to say it, but that almost makes sense," Krycek said, frowning. "I think that's a good sign I've been here way too long."
