Lucas had a giant bowl of popcorn and was sitting in front of the TV. There was a documentary on, but the remote control was out of reach, so if anyone grabbed it they could probably flick over to something else.

"You have?" Lucas asked, surprised. "What animal?"

Turtle's grin was wry as she looked at him. "Three guesses."

He realized how stupid the question was. "Marmoset? Puffer fish?" he grinned.

"No, and no." She smirked. "Last chance."

Lucas shrugged. "I'm fresh out of ideas, unless you were a...turtle?"

Turtle's face filled with mock surprise. "However did you guess? Bob! Tell 'im what he's won!"

"I'm just that good," Lucas replied. "How did you end up as a turtle? Or is it one of those weird island things?"

"Definately a weird island thing," Turtle nodded. "I just woke up one day, and was a turtle for a weekend."

"This place is beyond bizarre. There has to be some scientific reason for it all."

Turtle looked at him for a moment before a grin slowly appeared. "Oh, like the scientific explaination on why we're contantly shrinking and other weird, unnatural stuff in our science class?"

"There has to be some kind of technology behind it," Lucas reasoned. Ever the scientist. Ever the dweeb.

"My personal theory? It's a virtual reality sort of thing. A very, very good one."

"So all of this is in our heads? Or just Science! class?"

"Oh, just Science! class. If all of this ends up being a fake construction of virtual reality," a very distressed frown crossed Turtle's face, "I'm going to be really, really put out...."

Lucas grinned. "Me too. There's so much here, for it all to be virtual reality would really be disappointing. There's so much to figure out here. I'm kind of looking forward to it."

He was definitely thinking about finding the technology behind Frizzle's classes now.

Turtle smirked at his enthusiasm. "Definately great here, that's for sure. Where are you from? I'm from Wisconsin, if that say anything about how much cooler this place is than home."

"I was born in Buffalo, but I moved around a lot. Before I came here I lived on the SeaQuest for about a year. It was a submarine."

Turtle couldn't not ask.

"Was it yellow?"

Lucas grinned. "No, it was sort of a gray-blue-green mottled color. I don't think yellow and camouflage go together so well."

"Actually," Turtle smirked, "I hear that yellow and comouflage are this spring's new black."

"Oh," Lucas ducked his head and smiled, "I'll take your word for it. I'm not much of a fashion aficionado."

Turtle chuckled a little; because, you know, she was so hip on fashion herself. "So, you lived in a submarine that was not yellow for a while, am I getting the important stuff down?"

"That's about it. And I worked with a dolphin named Darwin."
