1st Floor Lobby - Thursday After Classes

Dick (in a school girl's uniform) was sitting in a chair by a cardboard box, looking at herself in a hand-held mirror. Blair was sitting next to her, looking bouncy as usual. Only with more bounce because of the new female assets.

"Awesome." Blair grinned. "You're very punk rock."

Jude threw up the horns. "Totally unintentional, bra."

Blair flashed a peace sign in return. "It's a good look on you."

"Thanks - Blair?"

"Yup, you got it!" Blair bounced. "One hippie, add some boobs and hold the facial hair."

"I got all this too," Jude said, twirling her long hair around her finger.

"It's pretty nice hair." Blair said with a grin. "Have you had anyone play with it? That feels awesome."

"Not with it this long. Rikku's kinda wigged out over the whole 'my boyfriend's my girlfriend' thing."

"Seriously? That kinda sucks." Blair pouted. "River seemed okay with it. She braided my hair for me. Although my hair didn't really seem to stay that way for long."

"Want me to do it again?" Jude offered. "The girls back home kinda forgot I was a dude sometimes so I did the whole girly sleepover thing."

"Sure, but you have to let me braid yours too." Blair bounced. "Do you want me to do you first?"

"Sure," Jude said happily, snagging a spot away from the small crowd around the tables for appropriate hair-braiding positions.

Blair stood behind Jude, running her fingers through her hair for a moment before starting to braid. "I feel like we should be talking about boys or our period or something."

Jude wrinkled her nose. "Okay. Too far, dude. If I was still dating Chad we could do the boys thing, but . . ."

"Fine, fine." Blair rolled her eyes. "I'm sorta new to the whole girl thing."

She paused a moment and then leaned forward over Jude shoulder to look her in the eyes. "You don't think we're actually going to have to go through that, do you?"

Jude looked Blair in the eye gravely. "If there is a merciful God we won't have to."

"Maybe I'll say a prayer to a few of them before bed tonight." Blair gulped and went back to braiding hair.

Jude nodded but not enough to disturb the braiding. ". . . did you want to talk about boys?"

"...not really." Blair said. "I'm more of a girl-man myself."

Blair giggled. "Ha! I mean...you know what I mean."

"So . . . I heard you broke up with River?" They could still dish about girls, right?

"Yeah." Blair said, working on the braid. "I'm sorta trying to get back with her, but she's not really into that. Plus she went on a date with someone else."

"Ouch," Jude winced sympathetically. "That sucks. It - it wasn't 'cause of what you and I did . . ."

"No, that wasn't great for our relationship, but that wasn't it." Blair said, finishing off the braid and moving to sit next to Jude. "We went on this rescue type mission and I watched River fight. It got a little violent and it freaked me out. When I couldn't deal with it, I felt bad and told her that it'd be better if she found somebody who could deal with that part of her."

Jude leaned against her. "I'm sorry. It's hard to date fighter-type chicks when you're really not like that. But hey, you'll find someone else - I was totally bummed when Chad an' me broke up, but then Rikku came along outta nowhere."

"Maybe." Blair leaned her head on Jude's shoulder. "Love is hard sometimes. I think maybe I'll stop dating for a while. Get my head together and just hang out with friends."
