Dick (in a school girl's uniform) was sitting in a chair by a cardboard box, looking at herself in a hand-held mirror. Blair was sitting next to her, looking bouncy as usual. Only with more bounce because of the new female assets.

"That would be great," Luke said. "There's...kind of a lot of it."

Tori nodded. "No problem. I'm used to dealing with long hair, granted mine's not as long as yours right now." She smiled reassuringly. "It shouldn't be a problem."

Luke unknotted it with a barely suppressed wince. "My sister normally wears it up on her head," he said, chucking the whole mess onto the top of his head. "Or wrapped around her head."

"You okay?" Tori had noticed the wince. "Oh, okay. Wrapped how?"

"A big braid around her head?" Luke looked puzzled. "I think she sticks it up with glue."

Tori laughed. "Oh wow. I don't think I've ever seen a hairstyle like that."

"Leia's hair is insane," Luke told her.

Tori grinned. "I'll take your word for it." She believed him, er her. "Would you rather I try and wrap it?"

"I just want it to stop ending up in my mouth," Luke complained.

Tori stifled a laugh and nodded. "Okay. Then I think braids would be best for that." She was really good at that, she put her up in braided pigtails all the time. "Do you mind if I do it that way?" She didn't want to do something Luke wouldn't care for.

"Have your way with me," Luke said, then blushed.

"Um."

And that would be Tori blushing profusely. "Um... okay, yeah." She knew what Luke had meant.

"Do you have a hairtie? If not, I've got one."

Luke flailed. "I don't," he said.

Tori smiled. "No problem, I've got it." She always kept one on her wrist, just in case.

She paused for a moment, wondering if she should do two braids, instead of one. Tori then decided against it, realizing she only had the one hairtie. She set to French braiding Luke's hair.

Luke stood very still. "This is so weird," he commented. "Normally I just wash it and go."

And it showed.

Tori smiled and nodded. "I'm sure it is." She laughed. "It's something to get used to." She hoped Luke would turn back to normal sometime soon. "Not that this is permanent or anything..."

She grinned, even though Luke couldn't see it. "Almost done." Tori wanted to make sure that it was good enough, so no hair would fly into Luke's face.

"This hair goes on for lightyears," Luke complained. "I don't know why she doesn't just cut it all off."

Tori grinned and shook her head, amused. "Because it's nice hair. And maybe she likes it long?" She offered. Using the hairtie to hold the braid together, Tori checked over what she had done and was happy with it.

"All done." She grinned triumphantly. "Not so bad, was it?"

"Completely painless," Luke replied. "And I've never asked Leia about her hair. Think it would be too weird a conversation starter?"

"I'm glad, I had hoped I wasn't hurting you." Tori admitted, with a relieved sigh. She chuckled. "I don't know. It never hurts to try, though I wouldn't be surprised if she looks at you funny."

"That wouldn't be a huge change from normal," Luke said wryly.

"My sister does that to me all the time." Tori admitted, with a small smile. "I bet Leia just can't grasp how cool it is to be a Jedi." She grinned brightly, hoping to lighten the mood ever so slightly.

"There was something missing in my initial pep talk, yeah," Luke said with a sheepish grin.

Tori chuckled, smiling warmly at Luke. "I'm sure she cares for you greatly." She knew how siblings could be, especially sisters. Talking from experience, yep.
