Parker's had an-- interesting weekend. Yeah. So, it's not like she can't see Zero's point here. She picked out a red lollipop and ripped off the wrapper. "You know it's up to Principal Washburn, anyway, right?"

"Awesome idea." Blair grinned at Zero. "So has Alec stated that he wants a second chance?"

"Hey, Zero," Sam grabbed a pen, "Great idea. Hey, if we threw everyone out who had never killed a person or had a secret, well, I don't know who'd be left, but there'd be about twelve people, probably."

Annette signed. He was her big brother and fellow cheerleader. She took a red lollypop and pulled the wrapper off, sticking it in her mouth.

"Hey, Zero," Anders said, fishing a pen out of his pocket. "I'm not feeling too strongly about the whole thing one way or the other, but hey, lollipops."

"You don't feel too strongly about someone dragging someone else's deepest, darkest secrets out for the whole world to see without their knowledge or consent?" Zero had some paparazzi issues. Too bad it wasn't ten years in the future, or Sam probably would too!

Sam came into the lobby, took one look at the sign on Zero's table, and ducked his head, trying to figure out how he could get upstairs without being noticed.

Yeah, when you're as tall as Sam, it's hard to go unnoticed. "What's the matter, you don't want to sign my petition?" Zero called across the lobby.

"I was on my way back to the dorms when I saw the table. I would have signed it anyway, but there were also lollipops and a discount to that movie of Zero's that I really wanted to see. As far as I figured, this was a win-win situation. I walked up to the table to sign the petition," Jaye says.

Dawn pulled a pen out of her pocket and signed her name twice as large as most other peoples', so it would be apparent if Sam happened to see it, and so Alec would be able to read it without a problem. "This is really nice of you. I bet Alec appreciates it lots."

"Alec doesn't know about it yet," Zero admitted. "I should probably talk to him about it, huh?"

Pippi passes by the table on her way up the stairs. Upon seeing the sign she hurries up the stairs and returns with a basket of cookies, a pitcher of fizzy lemonade, and some cups. Which she sets down on the table.

"Hi Zero!"

Billy absolutely signed the petition. "Good idea." he said. "Any idea how Alec's taking this?"

"He says he does not have hairy toes," Zero reported. "Other than that, no, not really."

Alec had nothing to be afraid of - there was a reformed demon on campus, as well as mercenaries and the God of Death as part of the faculty. He was practically normal.

Also he still had to eat and go to class, so hiding in the basement was not workable. Hence being in the lobby.

"Thanks, Zero," he said, taking a lollipop with a grin. "Glad to see you're using that information to my benefit."

Zero grinned up at him. "I think it's important to have all the information as part of an informed decision-making process."

Alanna paused in front of the sign. "I turn into a statue for a week..."

"Check your e-mail," Zero said grimly. "Basically, Alec used to be an assassin, but he didn't want to be, and they would've killed him for parts if he hadn't performed. And Sam felt the need to tell us all about this and suggest it meant Alec was evil and going to murder us all in our sleep one night."

Rikku stopped on her way to Dance Club, thoroughly confused.

"People want him to leave? Is this about the e-mail thing? You have movies? Oooh, lollipops! Can I have one?"

"Well, Sam Winchester sure does, an' squall knows what he'll do. And yes, I do have movies, and you most certainly may have a lollipop," Zero said.

Setsuna arched an eyebrow at the petition when she saw it after work. She remembered the email. She remembered feeling vaguely unimpressed, not surprised, and again grateful for the sort of protection that comes with magical files. Either way, she signed. If this was leading to a possible expulsion merely based on what Alec had done, what was next for those of them who had been through similar?

"Yeh," Zero said. "I wanna make sure the administration knows the student body stands with Alec. An' Alec knows we're supporting him."

Isabel had gone out for a run, but stopped on her way up to her room. "Where's a pen?"

Tori spotted the sign and decided to sign the petition. It wouldn't be fair for Alec to be kicked out because of his past. If that was the case, she was sure a lot of the students would be gone.

Liz did not know Alec but she signed anyway, after all she had done terrible things, not that she was ever going to tell anyone else though.

Sokka wasn't really sure what to think about the whole thing. But hey, free lollipop.

"He's not really evil, is he?" he asked, as he signed.

Zero snorted dismissively. "No, of course not."

Angela stopped off. "I can't believe we have to sign for this now," she said, grabbing a pen. "Do you know how Alec is doing?"

"He was here with his shirt off earlier," Zero said. "Of course, he came from the basement, so I suspect the actual answer may be 'hiding.'"
