Zero held out a pen and a lollipop. "Here you go."

"Thanks," Isabel replied, signing her name with a flourish. Take that Sam. "I'm hoping that it doesn't reach the point we actually need something like this. But still it's probably good for him to see he's got the support."

"I believe in being proactive," Zero said. "Thanks, Isabel."

"Not a problem. I like Alec. This is the least I can do," she said. "I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you at the spa the other day, Parker had me signed up for so many treatments if felt like I was going to be pampered to within an inch of my life."

"I'm just glad you're back," Zero said. "I had no idea what was going on half the time you were gone--I'd be talkin' to Parker an' suddenly she's like, 'Oh, hey, Isabel's gone,' 'Oh, hey, Isabel's back.' I told her at one point we needed to mount a rescue mission."

"I'm glad to be back," Isabel nodded. "And there were definitely a few points I wouldn't have minded seeing a rescue mission. But I'm back now, so that's all I'm thinking about."

"Yay!" said Zero. "We're so glad you're back, too."

"And just in time for the screening," she chuckled. "I'm not sure if I should hide when you show it or be there to see everyone else flailing."

"There will be much flailing," Zero assured her. "I'm kind of looking forward to it. Despite the fact that I expect at least two attempts on my life."

"I promise as long as you editted out the bit where I got changed in front of my open door? I won't make an attempt," Isabel said, mostly joking.

"No, I tried to keep the rating down," Zero assured her.

"Oh good. That was my biggest fear," she admitted. "The rest? I'll just flail along with everyone else. But now I'm going to head up and cleaned up. I'll see you later."
