Second Floor Common Room, Friday Night

Cassie was still emo from Music is Love, and, well, her general predisposition and stupid dead daddy issues.

So she was in the common room, trying to write emo poetry in her bright pink journal while that one Disney movie about the orphaned deer played on the TV.

Oh yeah. She was well adjusted. Honest.

[ooc: Open, of course]

"It's not easy to do. But it gets easier to deal with, eventually." Especially when the dead people came back. But that topic of conversation Stark was wisely avoiding.

Stark had a tendency to be oblivious about certain things. This was one of them. As a result, he was a little slow to react and only just managed to duck his head so that his mask was really the only available surface for any sort of lip contact.

And then it was a good thing he was already sitting down. If he'd been standing, the flailing would have knocked him over backwards. Thankfully, the flailing wasn't quite bad enough to knock over any furniture.

"I. Um. Er."

Oh dear. Now he'd broken her again.

"No, no, it's just...I...and..." Stark paused, took a breath, and attempted to keep all the flailing internal.

"It's all right." Sort of. "Just, um, unexpected. And I, um. There's...I mean, I..." And you just aren't blue enough?

So well-spoken at times, Stark is.

That would be Stark's cue to face- and/or maskpalm. Repeatedly.
