Third Floor Common Room, Tuesday Night

Valentine stood back and proudly admired the pillow fort that he had made out of the couch cushions. He wasn't half bad at making them even when he wasn't insane by way of cupcake, he decided, and he might take up designing sets for himself more often in the future.
The only thing he was really missing right now was a low-fat non-whip soy latte.

And a cast, crew, script and camera.

He'd iron out the kinks later. Nothing could stand in the way of the progress of the magic of the movies!!

(Common room open, as common rooms are! Come in and be a star? We can figure out OCD as we go. ETA: As most of us have gone to bed, slowplay is now the name of the game to finish that movie. OCD is up for the filming itself, and I think we have pretty much all the positions filled. But if you want to show up and gawk, you can totally do just that.)

"Um...." Dawn tried to see up to the top of her head. This was not successful. "Greg? What're you doing?"

"Making it unique," said Greg, gathering tiny portions of the center part of her hair into little ponytails and then adding gel.

"Okay, unique is good, I guess," she said tentatively, "but isn't it too long to stick out or up?"

"Not when I bind the bottoms!" he said happily.

It was true. Thanks to the gel and hairspray and the miracle of Greg's hairstyling - seriously, don't ask me how he's managing this but he totally can, Dawn's hair was sticking out from her head. It wouldn't hold as long as the others' would, but still. Greg felt as though he had created a masterpiece.

Dawn raised a tentative hand to it and decided she didn't really need to see the final product. "Very, um, pointy."

"You expected less?" Greg gestured at his own head.

"Okay, that's fair, I just didn't know my hair could do this." And if she had, she might have done it a couple of years ago just to annoy her sister.
