Third Floor Common Room, Tuesday Night

Valentine stood back and proudly admired the pillow fort that he had made out of the couch cushions. He wasn't half bad at making them even when he wasn't insane by way of cupcake, he decided, and he might take up designing sets for himself more often in the future.
The only thing he was really missing right now was a low-fat non-whip soy latte.

And a cast, crew, script and camera.

He'd iron out the kinks later. Nothing could stand in the way of the progress of the magic of the movies!!


(Common room open, as common rooms are! Come in and be a star? We can figure out OCD as we go. ETA: As most of us have gone to bed, slowplay is now the name of the game to finish that movie. OCD is up for the filming itself, and I think we have pretty much all the positions filled. But if you want to show up and gawk, you can totally do just that.)

Hermione had come in to make some tea in the kitchen, but pauses when she sees the fort. "That's... Why is the sofa taken apart?"

Valentine gave his fingers a thoughtful wiggle as he admired his handiwork.
"It's a movie set, can't you tell? It's a city!"
He seemed rather pleased with himself.

Rikku waved to her roommate. "We're doing a movie!"

Rikku swept in in her best diva-tastic manner. "Is this the place? We're starting now?" And then the diva-ing gave way to bouncing. "Are we really doing another movie? Really for real? And I can be in it again????"

Valentine nodded and smiled, giving his hands a clap.
"You were my rubber chicken, my leading lady. Of course you can be in it again!"

Greg wandered in. "Dude, are we making forts? Where's John?"

"We're not making forts, we're making sets," Valentine said with an indignant sniff and a wave of the hand. "I'm making a movie, of course."

Dawn wandered in in her pajamas and robe, yawning, but in need of a snack. And maybe one for Sam and Scout, if she was being nice. "What's..." She spotted Valentine and the couch and Rikku, then announced, "I'm just here for a snack!"

"Your loss, then," Valentine said. "I'll have to find someone who is willing to work for cheaper to play the reprise of the Spoon Avenger in my sequel."

"Dawn!" Rikku bounced. "Spoooooooooooooon Avenger! You can't quit!"

Alec had gone to his own room for a couple things, mostly to check on his yarn reserves. When he came back through the common room, he did not expect this.

"Oh man, again?"

"Again," Valentine clarified with a nod. "I'm not insane by way of cupcake this time, and I acknowledge that I don't have a trailer, but I can set up some cushions in the corner if you'd like a dressing room and could give you top billing if you'd please come back for the sequel?"

Seeing Alec naked, learning about dildo cozies, and then being hit on by him - a fake him, granted - in class, all in three days, was a bit much.

"Hey, Alec." She fidgeted. "We, uh, had to move the box in the hall, last night."

Rory had spent the day asleep and was now wandering around in search of coffee, since she couldn't make her own anymore.

"...what are you doing?"

"Making a movie," Valentine replied, then pouted a little. "Or, I would be, if only I had a cameraperson. Preferably someone who will return to me eventually with the film. The footage from the last movie might be lost forever." He paused a moment to mourn, then grinned and clapped his hands. "You! Would you be my cameraperson?"

After visiting John in his room Naomi didn't want to return to her room so she decided to see if anyone was in the common rooms, she blinked when she saw what was happening, "what's going on?"

"Making Hollywood magic," Valentine stated. "Low-budget Hollywood magic."

Will found that she couldn't fall asleep in bed, and so she decided to head down a floor to the common room there in her cutesy frog-print PJs. One look around the room told her everything she needed to know. Pillow Fort. Valentine. Mad flailing.

"...you're making a sequel to the movie already, Mr Valenteen?" she asked.

Valentine pointed at Will and grinned.

"You! My brilliant writer!" A pause for consideration. "Writer-slash-co-director! You've arrived just in time!" He leaned forward and muttered on a more quiet note, "I'm not insane this time, I swear it, but if you want to call me Valenteen, then I'm not going to stop you. It's an image thing, you understand."

In this scene, the Rubber Chicken confronts F. Mack Murray and demands to know why he refuses to be with her for eternity. His answer? She is far too much a chicken. So The Rubber Chicken sets off to find the one person who she knows can assist her... The Mysterious Poultry Witch!
