The lobby had been rearranged to fit in a bunch of podiums and a big board that looked a lot like this.

Hades was at his own podium with note cards. "Welcome to Fandom Peril!, not Jeopardy!, because that would be a violation of copyright and we all know that that's a bad thing, right? Yeeah. Anyway, Fandom Peril!, brought to you by Proud Republican and Tory Students.

Aim of the game is to get as many right answers as you can. The categories are Fandom-related. You pick a category and an amount, listen to the clue, then buzz in and answer in the form of a question.

To get the group spirit going, yeah that's it, group spirit, each podium can have a team of up to four. Cram in there if you have to. Any team member can buzz in and answer. In the form of a question.

And on to our first round. The categories are: Animals John Has Turned Into, Invasions, Detention, Potpourri (about anything and everything), Roadkill (that's about Fandom wildlife) and Colors That End in 'Urple'. Team one, you get to pick the first category."

[OOC: PRATS folks get in there! Everyone who's allowed on campus at the time is welcome to join in. ie: non-PRATS more than welcome! Pick a podium, jump in, if the podium is full jump in anyway. Hades will be pleased if you cheat. Fight over who buzzes in first. It's free for all madness. ~~Wait for OCD!~~ OCD up!]

Sokka banged his forehead on the podium.

Valentine stared at Sokka for a moment, then shook his head and shrugged. "Or do I get to choose a category now? I think I'd prefer that to trying to figure out how to form a question around your odd choice in hairstyling."

Sokka pointed at him. "Good man! Now you've got it! ...Remind me to introduce you to the television sometime."

Aly almost fell down laughing.

"No, that was a special question for hair-boy. You can pick a category."

Valentine stared at Sokka a moment longer, looking rather affronted.
"The television and I have met," he commented dryly. "I hit the buttons, the picture and sound change, it's all good fun." He looked back to Aly. "I'll take potpourri, then. For... a number that I am allowed to choose. Whichever."

"Mmm, button pushing. A favourite pastime of Fandom students," Aly said. "Potpourri for 800 then...The sockpuppet version of Aeryn Sun likes to sing this song."

Valentine knew no Aeryn.
Valentine knew no sockpuppets.
Valentine just stared blankly at Aly and shrugged his shoulders.

Aly looked disappointed. "Come on, Valentine. The fine art of guessing is lost on you?"

"What is... Uh..." Valentine really didn't know many of the songs around here, either. "Something that's all oooh, creepy, music-like?" He wiggled his fingers for emphasis. "Perhaps with lyrics."

Rikku buzzed in. Without waiting to see if Valentine's ~~non~~answer was right. And buzzed in a few more times.

Valentine's thunder was being stolen, so be buzzed right back, thank you very much.

Rikku giggled and buzzed more. Bzzzt!

Valentine frowned and buzzed again. Thunder? Hello. Mine! My thunder. Please do not be stealing it!
Besides, he was pretty certain that the song totally had lyrics.

Rikku buzzed in a few more times for good measure.

"Is it Cuban Pete? That's a fun song to sing."

Valentine tried to picture a sock puppet singing "chickchick-chicky-boom."
In his mind, it worked.
He buzzed in again.
"If it's right, I should get the points, as it has lyrics and I guessed about them first."
