First Floor Lobby: Sunday afternoon

Finals started tomorrow, so Jack was - surprisingly enough - studying.

He was doing it in a very Jack way, though. He'd claimed the biggest couch in the first floor lobby as his own and was currently sprawled across it, shirtless, sucking on a lollipop while he flipped through a textbook.

Propped up at each end of the couch was a sign which read--

Lick a Seahorse for Luck!

The table next to him held several empty coffee cups, with books and notes piled haphazardly next to them, and sitting underneath it - where it wouldn't be immediately apparent to anyone walking past - was a large box, filled with lollipops that he would happily share.

Jack smirked a lot more, but decided not to ask questions. "Nope, you should always hold still if you're licking a Seahorse."

Lana regained her composure, mostly, and a bit of the old Lana found it's way through. "In my experience," she said wickedly. "It's the Seahorse who's in more danger if they move too much while being licked."

Jack started snickering, flopping back down on the couch. "You're absolutely right, Lana. Very important not to make any sudden moves."

"But no, I definitely wouldn't recommend running," she said mock-innocently.

"Well, it could be its own sort of fun," Jack said, then sucked thoughtfully on his lollipop. "You'd need to be very coordinated, though. And maybe practice first."

Lana couldn't help having certain images run through her mind, making her blush again. "Well, I suppose it could be done, but I don't quite see the point. Not when not-running can be so much fun."

"True," Jack conceded. "But I like to do things that haven't been done, or at least that I haven't done. It's part of what makes life fun and staves off the boredom."

"Well, you'll have to let me know how it goes," Lana said with a grin. "For me... I'll stick with a little less running and a lot more snuggling."

"Snuggling's good, too. Don't get me wrong. Sometimes I just want a little excitement to precede it."

"I guess I don't do so well in the excitement category," Lana admitted, blushing a little.

Jack covered a grin at her blush. "What constitutes excitement is different for everybody. Don't sell yourself short. Ask Jim, bet he'd say you're very exciting."

A slow smile spread across her face. "I don't think Jim has any complaints."

Jack snagged another lollipop and offered it to her. "Here, one for him too. You can lick Seahorses together."

Lana laughed. "Thanks," she said as she took the second lollipop. "But I can tell you that Jim...? He prefers Koalas."

Which sent Jack into peals of laughter. "Nice one," he finally managed. "Very, very nice one."

She waved a lollipop at him. "Thanks, Jack. Catch you later."

"See you, Lana." He waved after her, then sank back down, getting comfortable, book on his lap while he kept working on his lollipop.
