5th floor Common room, Saturday morning
River sat perched on the couch. Not only wasn't Simon around, there was also a lack of kitchen staff to make her breakfast. She'd had to improvise, which had resulted in cookies and ice cream. That wasn't too bad although perhaps a little low on nutritional value and high on sugar.
There was also a lack of books, which bothered her even more. The art books were interesting, and her roommates fashion magazines did give her some insight into cultural values, but overall, River was bored. And also, why did she have a roommate? Her parents could afford to give her a single room. Not that she minded the other girl - and she'd been asleep - but other girls usually minded her. And boys. Most kida her age did, in fact.
She had pulled out her notebook and was scribbling something resembling a plan for the day.
[Open, of course.]

Pup dangled helplessly in Walter's grip, looking resigned to being carried by his neck again.
"And I want someone to cook me a big breakfast." No one looked ready to do that. "Or some cereals."

Furrball gave Pup a look of "omg how do we get away?!" Nadia gave Furrball a big hug.

He pulled out the eggs and a jug of milk and put both on the counter. "I've seen my mum do it."

Rummaging yielded a preposterously large frying pan. "Can I have some of your cereal?"
