Third Floor Common Room, Saturday Afternoon

At some point, Wyatt grew bored with the blocks and orbed out of Chris's room into the common room. The TV had some cartoons on, but Wyatt changed the channel. Anyone observing might note he wasn't using the remote to do it.

He found a channel with a movie about dragons on it and clapped in delight. He liked dragons. He wanted a dragon. So he started to call it out of the TV.

But as luck would have it, he took a step backwards and stepped on the actual remote control, changing the channel to a popular children's show. And what he called out of the TV wasn't exactly a dragon.

It was a singing purple dinosaur. "I love you, you love me, we're a happy family. With a great big hug and a kiss from me to you, won't you say you love me too?"

[Open, of course. Based on canon, but Barney wasn't entirely my idea. *bats eyes innocently* ;) ]

"Stark!" wailed Anders. "Help me!"
stykera: (freaked out)

Stark was too busy staring at the purple creature to look down and see any tiny children. Thankfully, Anders was not tiny.

"What is it? And why does it sing?"

[identity profile] cantgetnorelief.livejournal.com 2007-04-28 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
"I don't know," Anders whimpered. "Wyatt said he pulled it out of the TV."
stykera: (little frown)

"Out of the TV?" Stark repeated. "But it's just pictures in the TV. It isn't real things. And why would he do that?"

Then he actually took a look around the room.
"Oh. They're all small again." Yes, sometimes he was quite slow.

[identity profile] cantgetnorelief.livejournal.com 2007-04-28 11:11 pm (UTC)(link)
"They are." Anders was totally not pouting except he was. "They're wearing me out. And not in a good way because ew."
stykera: (nervous)

[personal profile] stykera 2007-04-28 11:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Stark was not going to comment on the pouting. And he was going to pretend he did not hear the last part. It was better for everyone, really.

"Is it everyone again? Mostly everyone I mean. Not me or you, apparently."

"I think so," Anders said, looking resigned. "I've been too scared to actually go check, but you try waking up with two people who're suddenly toddlers and you wouldn't want to know either and this is so not fair."
stykera: (lost boy)

[personal profile] stykera 2007-04-28 11:25 pm (UTC)(link)
"...Oh." That seemed like a safe enough thing to say, and Stark didn't really have anything else. "There have been a lot of tiny people, lately."

[identity profile] cantgetnorelief.livejournal.com 2007-04-28 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
"Uh huh." Anders frowned. "I don't know if it's worse when it's your possible future kids, or your boyfriend. And girlfriend."

"I wouldn't know," Stark said, after a pause. "But both would probably be bad, sort of. At least somewhat. I think."

[identity profile] cantgetnorelief.livejournal.com 2007-04-28 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
"It was very very traumatizing," Anders grumbled.
stykera: (lost boy)

[personal profile] stykera 2007-04-28 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)
"I'm sure it was," Stark said. "I didn't have any children show up." He might have looked briefly sad about that.

[identity profile] cantgetnorelief.livejournal.com 2007-04-28 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
"Lucky you," Anders said. "It was hell saying goodbye to 'em."

"Goodbyes are always hard. But that would be very bad, yes."

[identity profile] cantgetnorelief.livejournal.com 2007-04-29 12:01 am (UTC)(link)
Anders smiled slightly. "Kind of nice to know I'd make a pretty decent father someday, anyway, huh?"

Stark nodded. "That would be good to know." Or so he assumed.

"I kinda like to think so," Anders grinned. "Never subject my kids to the freaky purple thing, that's for sure."

"Good," Stark said. "Best for everyone that way, I think."
