Chupacabra Campfire [Tuesday Evening]

One workshop on explosions, one more day spent avoiding Luke and Gavin's back at the campfire. He's not hiding this time, but he's still prepared to run should anyone mention quarters or tigers or 'angels.'

After his workshop, he'd gone into town and picked up ten bars of chocolate. Yes, ten. Look, they might taste different, okay? Of course, Gavin's not thinking of chocolate plus fire equals a mess. He's too busy trying to decide which to try first.

"Telekinesis ball," Bridge clarifies. "It's really, really sensitive to mental energy, so most people who are just learning start out with one. I've only been practicing that for a couple of years but I do have um, abilities that I was actually born with," he adds.

"Psychic," Bridge says, holding up a gloved hand. "I can read auras and emotions and thoughts and stuff. Sometimes I get visions," he shrugs.

Which is a little bit terrifying... "How does it work?" Charlie asked, keeping her voice curious. "I heard of one guy? Who can tell your future or past when he shakes your hand. Is it like that with you?"

"Sort of," Bridge says. "My powers work best through touch." He holds up a hand. "And that's why I wear the gloves. So I'm not intruding on people, you know?"

"Oh," Charlie said, relieved, then hoping her relief wasn't obvious on her face. "That makes sense." She looked hopeful, and asked, "Do you think I could practice with a TK ball like yours?"
