Kraken Campfire, Later Tuesday Night

Rikku hoped it wasn't too dark that people wouldn't be able to see that she now had purple hair.

Aly was on her short list of Favorite Teachers Ever.

She hoped the Kraken bathroom had recovered from any possible dye-related mishaps.

Rikku sat in front of the campfire, bouncing to herself. Ready to chat the ear off anybody and everybody who dropped by.

"You bet!" Rikku grinned. "For my class tomorrow, How to Annoy Teachers Without ... something something something. Getting turned into animals, I think. We have free rein to do whatever we want to teachers and I wasted a week. Can you believe that!?"

Valentine would have squinted to be sure, if he could. "Oh, I'm just-- faces here all look alike to me. I was starting to tell everyone apart using hair. Yours was pretty easy to pick out, Rikku."

Aravis laughed. "I am very well, actually. Unable to sleep, but still quite, quite well. And yourself?"

Rikku laughed. "Mutants, nope. Skaters, not many where I'm from, either, but I'm dating one here. And turtles, no, but then, you guys don't have Ronso or Guado, either." She smiled. "You kinda remind me of someone, too."

"I hadn't noticed," Raph replied sarcastically. "I'm gonna test how heavy a sleeper he is and tape him to his bed."

"Psychic," Bridge says with a shrug. He's used to people asking by now. "I can read thoughts and auras and stuff but it'd be pretty rude of me to do it without asking, not to mention pretty noisy for me because people think a LOT about all sorts of random things so I wear the gloves so that all that stuff gets blocked out."

"Whoa, I can't picture it all pink." She laughs a little. "The two-tone thing looks all badass, though. Maybe next time I go for stripes. Unless Zero's gonna think I'm stealing her look. Or red. I just felt like a change, you know?"

Mel sighed. "It's like 'How are you today?' Only cooler."

"Sleepless," she said honestly. "But in pleasant company, at least. Are you enjoying your workshops?"

"You can't sleep?" Rikku looked at her, tilting her head slightly. "Is something worrying you, or you're just kinda still adjusting? I'm ... better. The thing from the other day is kinda fixed, I think."

"I can take it off," Valentine replied smoothly. "There will be another just like it underneath, though." He smirked faintly and tilted his chin upward slightly. "You've never seen a man with a mask for a face, before?"
Not that many other students in Fandom really had, granted.

"Oh! I never even thought of that. I'm so sorry!" She frowned a little. "It's still easy to pick out, just all the way around the color wheel, I guess. I didn't mean to mess with you. How are you, by the way?"
